This place was a rip off. The orange juice was brown and tasted old. The omelette was not on menu but the waiter said they had one and it was huge. Far from huge. They also charged me 9.99 then 1.00 for cheese and 1.50 for bacon after saying it came with that on it. 2 of us and our bill came to 31.00 after tip. Rip off!!

My girlfriend and I went to Brown County for the day, and wanted a nice place to eat. We chose the muddy boots cafe based on good reviews from the visitor center. We first ordered hot chocolate and water. The water took about 5 minutes to get to us, and the hot chocolate took about 10, at this point the server hadn't even taken our order (keep in mind this is a very small restaurant, and there wernt many people. My girlfriend ordered a rice dish that wasn't very good, and I ordered the "big damn sandwhich" but received the grilled cheese. When I alerted the server he told me he could get me the right sandwich but it would take about 10 minutes. I had already waited so long that I just ate the grilled cheese. When we went to pay he was sorry about the mix-up, but our bill was $20 dollars, and we only ordered $17 dollars worth of food, and tax should not have $3 dollars on $17. He assured me it was tax, but it seemed a little steep. We paid anyway, and booked it outa there. Food was sub-par and service wasn't great. I would recommend checking out some other restaurants.
