Stopped by Harding's on Drak...

Stopped by Harding's on Drake Rd in Kalamazoo to buy Mooville ice cream for David's birthday. I bought Chunks of Heaven, French Vanilla Ice Cream with Caramel Swirl and Chocolate covered Waffle pieces. Thought David would like it. I cannot find one caramel swirl, no choc covered waffle pieces, just a very few (count on one hand) choc flakes. I dug through the ice cream doing a thorough search. Ice cream itself was good, not as sweet as those that use sugar to cover lack of taste, but have no idea what happened to the "chunks of heaven". Very disappointed after reading all the stuff about Mooville ice cream. For my money I will take a chocolate soda at Washtenaw Dairy in A2. I don't care if it's just Stroh's ice cream - you can't put a price on the ambiance of Wash Dairy. Especially when you walk throughout the Old West Side from your house and get to stand in line with interesting people and pass the time of day. That feeling of community is invaluable and quickly becoming scarce. I would sell my soul to be back in my little house on the OWS. There is no price on quality of life.
