We use Hiller for plumbing,heating and cooling. They maintain the new air conditioner system they put in. Very professional.

$1040 to fix a TRANE Heat exchngr that had a LIFETIME WARRANTY.later found they DID NOT REALLY EVEN CHANGE IT!

After reading the reviews, I must say my encounter with James from Hiller Plumbing was GREAT. During the heavy rains we lost power for 4 days. The sump pump stopped and water came into the crawl space under the house. When the power came back on the sump pump did not come back on and water continued to come in. I called Hiller and they worked me in. Yes, James did not show until 5pm...but he showed. I called others and they could not get to me for one or two days. James fixed my sump pump and stayed long enough to make sure the water was going down. Total cost was $49.95. Based on this experience and positive information from my neighbors I totally disagree with the negative reviews about this company. I will recommend Hiller for plumbing problems.

I called Hiller to find out what it would cost to investigate a potential gas leak in my home. The lady who answered the phone said this could be done for $49.95, so I booked a visit. The plumber arrived on time, was pleasant & courteous & sat me down to go thru his sales presentation about how wonderful Hiller is and why I should join their Happy Hiller Club. He showed me that they have pricing for every possible service. Getting to my specific issue, he told me the cost for gas leak detection - it was over $500! I advised him that I booked him with the understanding that it cost $49.95. After I flatly refused to pay more, he called the office and got permission to do the service for the understood price. But he insisted that it was a misunderstanding, since their dispatch fee is $49.95. He tried to claim they couldn't have given me a quote over the phone for the work - that's when I reminded him they have a book with pricing for every possible service. I don't like to be lied to. With Hiller, the customer is always wrong. I did get the service I requested at the agreed upon price, but it required taking a strong stand.

TECHS ARE EXPECTED TO UPSELL, THEY HAVE SET FINANCIAL GOALS SET FOR THEM TO ACHIEVE, GUESS WHO PAYS FOR IT? CUSTOMERS! EXPECTING (IF NOT DEMANDING) TECHNICIANS MAKE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF MONEY PER DAY IS NOT IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE CUSTOMER AND PROMOTES DISHONESTY. THEY ALSO CHARGE MORE THAN DOUBLE WHAT OTHER COMPANIES CHARGE FOR THE SAME PARTS.

I called at 6am and they were there when they stated they would be. They also didn't try to "sell" me up or tell me I had to have extra work that really wasn't required. would highly recommend.
