This vegan, raw restaurant is really fresh and creative. If you're looking to try something new, this place has some great twists on classic dishes.

this place exceeded expectations. very good vegan food. the vegan cheese platter with sprouted crackers was outstanding as was the zuchinni "noodle" pad thai. Brunch menu looks awesome too. Stocked bar and quite reasonable prices given the hard-to-come-by menu! highly recommended

Intrigued by the "plant-based" menu, we stopped by Avo shortly before closing on a Saturday to wrap up the night with some dessert. I had very small hopes for the vegan cheesecake and snickers ice cream bar. I mean, it's CHEESEcake, right? What could it possibly be made with?

The answer is magic. The cheesecake is made with magic. Also, cashews.

I'm not saying this is "good for a vegan dessert." I'm saying this is absolutely fantastic for ANY type of dessert. If our experience with the sweets course is even any indication of the rest of the menu then AVO is definitely going on the food rotation.

AVO is a refreshing addition to Nashville. The atmosphere is upscale and sleek but still earthy. The wait staff was wonderful and our dessert was luscious.
