Our home was hit by a tornado and our insurance company recommended BKA so I gave them a call. The walk through went well, I felt I could trust them with our home and the repairs. Biggest mistake ever. We were not living in the home while the repairs took place. The subcontractors didn't use plastic or paper they trudged all over our brand new carpet in dirty work boots. Our house was so dirty my husband spent hours scraping grout from our hard wood floors in our living room after they designated that their work place. They smoked in our home leaving ashes in 2 out of 3 bathroom sinks. They dented a brand new refrigerator in 3 places. They vandalized window sills by driving in nails and chipping the wood and using a tool to gauge out wood in another. They went into our basement where they had no right to go and stole buckets. Every job they did for us had to redone because of the bad workmanship. And if all this wasn't bad enough their office person Samantha Knowles treated me with nothing but contempt and disdain because I refused to sign papers so they could get money. We ended up firing them on Nov 5th. They didn't bother contacting us again until Nov 25th when they tried to get payment from our mortgage company and was refused. They haven't completed one thing on our home. Not one job is 100% complete. Reviews should let you upload pictures so people can see the terrible job they did.

Don't waste your time! They will put you off and then never follow through. Hire someone else!!!

The worst decision I ever made in life was to use these idiots to restore a property destroyed by fire. I was promised that this project would take 6 months and it wound up taking 3 years. These people are only concerned about one thing and that is getting paid. The job started out fine and seemed to be progressing on schedule then they just left it siting there for months and months while they worked on other projects. When asked about the progress, they would make up the same lie over and over just word it differently. I was constantly pointing out things to them that wasn't done correctly and would have to bd done over. I do not recommend.. Very, very poor service. If I could give negative star rating.

USE ANYBODY ELSE! This has been one of most horrific experiences in home repair we have ever experienced! We had extensive damaged from a fire. We had moved out of state and were not there daily. We were part of a Premier Provider Program with State Farm - BKA was guaranteed to get their money directly from State Farm. Their cleaner (and one new employee) were the best - everyone else at the company would not be allowed to walk my dog! We have been lied to repeatedly. We found open beer in our refrigerator, our furniture stacked like cord wood, they used our dining room chairs for step stools (using the linen seat for their dirty feet). They cleaned our vents 3 times ( while leaving our furniture in the house getting dirty again from the soot floating in the air) before I had to point out that the units had not been checked! All units were pulled out the next day - including duct work, registers, and attic insulation! We were told the floors would be properly cleaned and sealed as needed prior to carpet being installed, that it would be 'next week'. My husband had come into town unexpectedly and was standing on the carpet! This was also before the units were pulled - so soot was in the new carpet! They did not care. They were rude, condescending and untruthful! Guaranteed to get their money from State Farm, they still put a lien on our home! We had done everything we could, arranged friends to do mortgage company inspections at first available appointment, signed every paper and check as soon as possible,- everything we could do! They chose to leave it on our house - that was for sale - just to be Class A+ JERKS! Negative 1000 stars!

I found these folks very professional & polite & would highly recommend BKA. Their guys were great - did excellent work and actually did the job for such a great price I ended getting to hold on to a little of the insurance settlement - the other guys I talked to were going to leave me haveing to pay some out of my pocket

If you believe in the old adage, "the customer is always right", this will not be the place for you. I was treated with disrespect both live and on the phone.
