The first thing I will say is that I will NEVER use this company EVER again. I hired Design Works to install a countertop in my house. I had my father at my property to let the installer in. When I saw it I could not believe that a “professional” would EVER leave a job like this. To their credit they did get the installer out there immediately. The installer told me that he thought the important thing was that the backsplash was level with the window. It wasn't. He told me that the countertop that he brought to install didn’t have as big of a lip on the front as the old one. He measured it and it was his job to make it work. He then told me that he thought I could put a filler strip in the gap to hide the huge triangular gap that curved almost straight up in the corner by the dishwasher! Did they fix the problem? Yes.
