Haus of Yarn is a full service knit and crochet center with the most varied and comprehensive yarn selection in Middle Tennessee. Models knitted by our staff are displayed throughout the store to help you select yarns and patterns as well as to spark your creativity. Our friendly staff has over 250 combined years of knitting experience so you can trust an accurate answer to any knitting question. We offer classes for knitters of all skill levels and ages. Owned by Carolyn Smith, the Haus of Yarn opened in February 2003 and has become a favorite shopping spot for Middle Tennessee knitters, as well as many visitors to Nashville. Our customers enjoy the cozy atmosphere, our helpful and courteous staff, competitive pricing policies, and an incomparable selection of patterns, books, needles, accessories, and, of course, YARN! My favorite place to be! Yes, they have gorgeous yarns, 1000s of skeins of every yarn you’ll ever need. Delicious colors, calming neutrals, squishy bins of goodness. But to me the best thing about Haus of Yarn is the atmosphere. The shop is tucked away on White Bridge Road. Once you enter the shop, there’s always a friendly person to greet you, offer assistance or be happy to have you browse. Everyone on staff is knowledgeable about the arts of knitting and crochet. They know their merchandise and are happy to help or just let the goods sell themselves! My happy place.

Great yarn store and easy to find. I have taken several classes here and they have all been great. You can stop by anytime with a problem and they are able to help. They have a great selection of all types of yarns. They have a knitting group for anyone on Thursday nights from 5:30-7:30.
