The folks at Kuhn Air are FANTASTIC. I highly recommend them. Called in the morning and they were at my home in the afternoon. Tim diagnosed and ultimately addressed the issue by just making some adjustments.
This was a technical issue regarding excess pressure to the smaller zone in a dual zone system when my 5 ton unit was being called just to the smaller zone. I had another company come out and tell me I needed to install a 'bypass damper' that would cost me over $1000 parts and labor.
I am so glad I did my research and knew there were other options to try.
Tim and Daryl were the techs that came and they were so polite and professional and understood my situation immediately. They even put on cover booties before entering the house.
For just the price of a service call, I had a satisfactory solution.
For those that are interested in the technical stuff...Tim adjusted the damper on the large zone so the excess pressure created when only the small zone called, would 'leak' into the larger zone. The small zone area is small enough that the thermostat is satisfied within minutes so the 'leak' into the larger zone had little to no effect on large zone area's tempurature

iT was freezing cold outside and A/c wasn't feeling well. Called 2 other vendors and they were giving service date 2 days later. Kuhn Air condition was right on the job, Tim called me first and showed up on time. Analyzed the problem tested it and discovered another big one. He handed over his next appointment to his team member and was dedicated to fix the job on hand. He had his team supporting him to replace the damage motor by end of four hours Ac was cranking again. Thanks much Tim and Kuhn A/C team!!!

I’ve worked with Ed Kuhn and his company for years. I appreciate his responsiveness and I like the one-on-one nature of dealing with him versus the big players in town. I’ve used him for replacing a big HVAC unit, installing a mini-split system, whole house humidifier, and other minor services issues here and there. My Dad and I own an a/c company in Florida. My Grandma lives in Franklin and her system was not cooling. My Dad and I were not able to get up there to fix it for her. After researching several companies, we reached out to Kuhn Air Conditioning.
Sarah and Tim were professional, experienced and honest. They got my Grandma's system up and cooling promptly for a very fair price. It's apparent that this company is sincerely trustworthy.
From one a/c contractor to another, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking care of my Grandma just as we would have! ��

I called these guys to have them come and take a look at my HVAC. All I wanted was service call diagnostic on my heat problem.( had the same problem before and it was the circuitboard, which I just ordered and replaced). Just wanted a professional to tell me what was the problem with my heat. He then asked me to send him a picture of the model number of my HVAC unit. This was all set up on Thursday. On Friday, this guy calls me back and told me that he has the circuitboard for my unit and it’ll cost me over $500 to get it replaced. I asked him how did he know what my problem is without even looking at it? He then told me, that he’s 98% sure that it is the circuitboard, but he’s not going to come out and diagnose my system unless I pay for the board, And he’ll waive the service call fee. I didn’t want him to replace anything, just let me know what’s wrong with my HVAC unit, and I didn’t ask him to waive anything! And then he told me, it’s not worth my time to come out and diagnose your unit if I’m not going to replace any parts! Really? I called another HVAC company and He took about 35 minutes checking everything on my unit, and it wasn’t even the circuitboard. It was the motor mount that was broken, which he had replaced in about 10 minutes. Haven’t had a problem since.

Don’t use kuhn air, or If you want to pay thousands of dollars for $10 part, give this guy a call. He’ll gladly take your money for something you don’t need, and make you look stupid in the process.

BEWARE!! If this guy was any worse he would be in handcuffs. He charged me $200 for less than 15 minutes of work and to replace under 2 pounds of coolant/refrigerant. On top of the ridiculous rates he banged his tool bag into the bumper of my truck, scratching it, and acted like nothing happened. The cherry on top was when he said I should call someone else to track my leak because it would probably be difficult. So not only does he not want to work, but will charge an arm and a leg for anything resembling it. This guy (Ed) was a nightmare, and I hope people read this review and avoid suffering his "Service".
