Kyotos has the best hibachi in Nashville. The service is wonderful and the chefs are very entertaining.

Food here is good but the portions have decreased over time. They are bad about trying to get you rushed out. We weren't even done eating and they kept asking for my credit card.

Very very hit or miss with the Sushi---3 weeks ago it was great, last night not so much. Service is hit or miss, too. They need a better waiting area. Had 6 kids and a parent hovering over us as we waited for Sushi. Something should have been said but, parent should have known better!

As every sushi fan knows, the best sushi is generally to be found in an out-of-the-way strip mall, and that is exactly the case with Kyoto. Though the restaurant does not feature a wide variety of highly creative or unusual sushi options (for those of us who love an occasional mango-eel-strawberry-tuna-all-the-things roll), it has some very solid staples. The Philadelphia Roll is about as fresh as sushi gets here in Nashville, and the unagi and spicy tuna rolls are solid as well. The restaurant also features hibachi, which looks highly amusing, but unfortunately is difficult for a gluten-free individual to navigate (speaking of which, Kyoto does not have gluten-free soy sauce, so bring your own!). Overall, a solid pick for standard sushi rolls.

This restaurant is the best Japanese Restaurant we have ever eaten in. The service is impeccable. Staff is friendly. I give this restuarant a 5 star rating. We have been here numerous times and the food is second to none. We aways look forward to eating there. Chef Si is the best. I can't wait till next time.
