I was a budding photographer and it was my first experience at a MUSIC CITY PAWN SHOP. I was looking for some decent gear at a reasonable price to follow a dream. He was a salesman named Steve who though himself quite charming with a greasy smile and a sleazy sense of business.

If you're thinking about buying from this pawn shop, don't. I was sold a Nikon camera, trusting that Steve was telling the truth and that all the camera needed was a charger. Even with the charger the camera was broken. Despite Steve's frequent claims of "Trust me! I'll take care of you!" It was like pulling teeth getting the company to actually MOVE on rectifying the mistake. No refunds, so they offered to get it fixed, but then took months to actually do so. When the camera finally was fixed, after weeks of time-wasting back and forth, several missed photography jobs on my end, and in fact, if you can believe the gall: outright lies when I asked for a progress update on when my camera would be fixed... I take the fixed camera home and begin happily shooting only to discover the box in which they gave me the battery charger only contains half the pieces. When I called to ask where the missing piece might be, I was told "You are on your own" and hung up on. So, bullet points?

- horrible Customer Service

- willing to sell broken merchandise

- willing to sell merchandise without all needed parts included

- mediocre selection

- will not offer refunds EVEN IF they are CLEARLY at fault

- lazy and unhelpful staff

- Downright slimy and unscrupulous business practices

Long story short? Don't waste your time with Music City Pawn.

My friend told me about this Music City Pawn place and I thought he was full of it. He wasn't. This place is PACKED with cool stuff! I know where all of the good electronics and music equipment is. I traded my amp head for a guitar and amp and had enough to by my gal a ring!. I'm not going anywhere else. There might be 5 pawn shops on Nolensville Rd but I'm driving by them all til I get here first. Cool people too! Thanks Music City Pawn! Thumbs Up!!!
