Poor customer service, poor craftsmanship. Do not recommend! I bought granite countertops from Home Depot and was sent to Oldcastle. My first interaction with them was when I went to view my slab. I had an appointment, but the woman who was supposed to show it to me was in her car leaving when I arrived. They had to chase her down and make her come back. Then, she couldn't find my slab. (Again, I had an appointment!!!) I pointed out a flaw in the slab, and she assured me it would be "cut around" or put in the sink hole or a back corner. (I shouldn't have believed her!) At that time I specifically asked her to show me where any seams would be. After making a joke about giving me multiple seams (ha ha ha), she showed me on a diagram that I would have ONE seam and drew on the chart where it would be. Then I waited 3 weeks for install. (Home Depot told me it would be one week.) I had to call them to confirm my install since they never called me - I didn't want to take a day off work for them not to show up. When *I* called, they did confirm and they did show up on time. The installers were very nice and much better than the unorganized and seemingly untrained office staff. However, upon install, guess what?? I had TWO seams in the same corner! And one of those seams has a lip on one side and is not flush. Crumbs get caught in it when I clean. And that flaw that would be "cut around?" Yep, it's in THE most used portion of the kitchen. You walk in and immediately stare right at it. I complained to Oldcastle and they said they would replace the countertops. They said they were moving their office and they would contact me in 1 to 2 weeks once they were settled to discuss re-installing. That was over a month ago and I've never heard from them again. I had no choice but to let my tile guy install my backsplash because if I rescheduled him again it would be after the holidays before he could finish - and I can't have an incomplete kitchen over the holidays! So now I'm stuck with these poorly done countertops!! Don't make the same mistakes I did. Go somewhere else.
