When you walk through the doors of historic Ryman Auditorium, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn’t just another nightly music venue, and it’s so much more than a daytime tourist stop. This place is hallowed ground. This is the exact spot where bluegrass was born—where Johnny Cash met June Carter, where souls were saved and a slice of history was nearly lost. It was right here that country music found an audience beyond its own back porch, and countless careers took off as deals were signed on napkins and paper scraps backstage. Open daily for tours and shows, right in the heart of Music City. When you walk through the doors of historic Ryman Auditorium, one thing becomes clear right away: this isn’t just another nightly music venue, and it’s so much more than a daytime tourist stop. Not too big, not too small. Very nicely sized concert hall. I saw a child having fun with a heavy metal live wearing her ear protection. So, this place can be called as kind of kids friendly (or at least accepted) depending on the genre of the music.

This is a wonderful venue! I've seen many shows here with seats in many locations ,and in my opinion, there isn't a bad seat in the house.

The Ryman is a great place for comedy shows and small concerts! The seating is wooden benches - not the most comfortable type of seating but not the worst either! There are really no bad seats here. If you have to seat in the balcony, just know the venue is small so it won't be too bad. You will still be able to see and enjoy the shows.

hands down the best music venue in Nashville! i'm a native Nashvillian and have attended most music spots around town and the acoustics and intimacy of the Ryman is second to none! There are very few bad seats so any spot is a good one to watch any music being played there. It's a must stop for anyone visiting or new to Nashville.

This is a legendary music venue that is worthy of the respect. Acoustically, it's the best sound I have ever heard, and after 25+ years of attending live concerts in the mid-west and east coast, nothing compares to the RYMAN. The only reason I gave less than 5 stars for "Seating Comfort" is because all the seats are solid wooden benches, that may be a concern to someone with back problems. However, the wooden seats probably contribute to the acoustics which are truly amazing; and why would you go to a show where you weren't standing for the performer(s) ? A Nashville gem.

The Ryman is a venue that lives up to the hype! Everything truly sounds better at the Ryman. I've enjoyed all of my concert experiences here!

Such a historic building. It's a pretty nice venue, and there are some good acts that come through. It's in a good location too, but parking can be tricky.

Great Concert Venue and historic, too! I have seen Hall and Oates, Martina McBride, Bryan Adams...all were great! My fave was Bryan Adams...with just his guitar and piano!

Great place to see live music. Would love to see several people play here since it's nicer than a big arena.

This is my absolute favorite music venue! You can pick your seat when you buy your ticket to ensure that you have a great view! Plus, due to the fact that it's smaller, it feels a lot more intimate. I have never been disappointed that this venue. The lines for the restroom can get long and concessions can be quite a long wait as well. Just prepare before the show!

Awesome Venue

If you like a small venue with large history, this is the place to go. The workers are friendly and the auditorium is fabulous.
