Provided by YP.comThis is Low-Income Housing, therefore, it has its pros & cons. I grew up in these apartments. They are reasonable. As of now, I do not know what the price range to rent there is. These are 2 & 3 bedroom apartments. When I left a few yrs ago, some apartments were in the process of being renovated and some already had been. I personally never had a negative experience living there. Yes, some neighbors are ghetto, noisy, and nosy. If you mind your business and say "hi" to people, most will leave you alone. The location is central and just 5-10 minutes to Downtown San Diego. National City is not "GHETTO." I am Gay and never felt threatened. The following are within a few minutes away: The Mile of Cars, Westfield Shopping Mall, Social Security Office, Hospital, Parks, many places to eat out (Taco Shops/Mom-n-Pop Restaurants), 2 Wal-Marts, OH BUT there is an In-n-Out about 1 mile away! Yes, an In-n-Out! Bad thing: Parking. No parking. You will get tickets for not moving your car. Many times I had to park a few blocks away...
