Thank you for considering the ancient and role of the Doula! I am passionate about helping women to achieve a positive, empowering birth experience; whether it be a natural birth, a medically-assisted birth, or a cesarean section. My seven biological children were each welcomed into our arms after a unique, inspiring, and sacred journey. I believe that every mother deserves to have a beautiful "Birth Story" of her very own.

I am trained and certified as a "Labor Support Professional" through The Academy of Certified Birth Educators, hosted by the Women's Hospital at Centennial, located in Nashville, TN. Currently an active member of DONA, I am close to obtaining my certification through this International organization as well. I am also a trained lactation consultant with nine years of personal breastfeeding experience.

The journey of birth is honored by creating an environment that cultivates peace, faith, and surrender. We were thoughtfully designed by God to exude the strength of the female spirit and physique at this most precious transition into motherhood.

I offer assistance with many labor support tools, positions and arts. I do not replace the mother's birth philosophy with my own, but rather support and serve.

There is a special place in my heart for young mothers, sexual abuse survivors, and those facing unique concerns. I have cross-cultural experience in the birthing room and respect, support, and serve women from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
