Terrible experience right off the bat. I called to schedule a technician to come out and provide an estimate for 4 new garage doors and found an extremely rude associate who hung up the phone on me 3 times when I finally decided to move on to another company.

This company should really train their employees to treat customers more professionally and NOT hang up the phone on them simply because they are not in the mood to do their job.

My tech, Tim, explained everything that needed to be done to get my old garage door opener opening smoothly and reliably. We discussed the need for a new door in the near future and other services offered by A1 Garage Doors. Tim got his work completed promptly. He was professional, polite and respectful. Your company is fortunate to have Tim on your staff. (Not his mother!)

Absolutely horrible experience. Begins by overquoting on a simple repair. Asks what "i can afford to pay". Door breaks the next day again. Never EVER do business with these rip off artists

GREAT EXPERIENCE. It is refreshing when you call a company, make a timely appointment, show up on time, diagnose the problem, and fix it at a reasonable price. Sounds basic but these days it rarely is. I talked to a person at A1 Garage, booked an appointment. The man Cecil showed up on time, made the repairs, showed me some maintenance tips & areas for future concern. Also told me that it was nothing that needed attention anytime soon. Holy smokes, no up-sell. He simply fixed what was wrong. I highly recommend A1 Garage Doors, especially Cecil! It was a stress free, easy home repair. This is the way it used to be. I guess if you have extra money in your wallet and want to pay 3 x times the price, you can with another company. A1 and Cecil treated me fairly.

I've been having my garage door opening and closing on its own. After new batteries in the remotes and trying a few other things, it was clear that it was time for a new opener. I called A1 Garage Doors. We scheduled a same day appointment at a time that was convenient for me. Stanley arrived promptly and was knowledgeable about the options. He shared some knowledge about my current door and was forthcoming about the price. The price was reasonable with a 10 year warranty on the items. He finished the work in about an hour. He was courteous, efficient, and professional. He even fixed another issue with my garage railings that I didn't see, and didn't charge me for that. The company that replaced my garage door a year ago was not caring to my issue, I called them first several times, so I am glad that I tried a new place. Thank you A1 and thank you Stanley! I urge everyone to give A1 Garage Doors a try.

The tension spring on our garage door broke, effectively trapping my wife's vehicle in the garage. Of course, this was a problem that needed to be solved ASAP. I quickly looked for reviews on my iphone for help. After seeing all the great reviews for A1 Garage Door Service I gave them a call. The lady said we could get a guy there in 2 hours; try booking an appointment anywhere else in that amount of time. Larry worked efficiently and was very friendly, knowledgeable and straight forward on the costs. If you're looking for garage door repair, A1 is the way to go.

We recently had some work done on our garage floor and now the door no longer would close all the way. After consulting with some home improvement-type handy-man people I realized what we needed was someone who knew specifically how to fix a garage door. After researching online, I called A1 garage Door Service and they were very accommodating on scheduling. A repairman came out, told me what the problem was, fixed it, tuned up the other various moving components of the door too, and now the garage door closes all the way, and operates smoothly. Price was reasonable and the repairman was such a nice guy, honest & dependable. I definitely would A1 again. The other reviews were so outstanding compared to other garage repair businesses that I was doubtful. But A1 deserves all the props he has received. Definitely a great company delivering good service. they know garage doors.

A1 garage door repair was terrific to work with. they sent their tech who was a great guy and was very quick to come out to my house in the next day. He installed a new garage door and railings in one day. He put in extra hours due to the structural problems of my garage, but He was able to get everything working. We have had no problems with the garage ever since. I received quotes from numerous companies and nothing matched the service from A1 garage door.

My garage doors’ springs broke a few weeks ago and would not open. Because it's a free-standing garage and I don't park my truck in there, it wasn't pressing that it was repaired right away. I decided to go research these places online, to choose the best company. I called late friday night and the answered the phone! a person! Made an appointment for Saturday at 10-thirty in the morning. Ben was his name, and he arrived on time and he quickly diagnosed the issues. I had two bad springs that needed to be replaced. I asked Ben if he installed automatic door openers and he did. Of course he said we have them on the truck. We discussed what kind I would need and 2 hours later I had a repaired garage door with a fantastic new garage door opener with a keypad and 2 remotes. A1’s prices were good. And the service Ben provided was exceptional. VERY friendly. I loved that I didn't have to take off any timer off work to get this done either. I highly recommend this company!

Shout out to A1 and Ronnie for his superior customer service. He arrived on the same day as we called, convenient to our work schedule. Ronnie arrived as scheduled, replaced one garage door opener and 2 springs on a second door because of extensive wear. All of this in One hour 15 minutes for a very reasonable cost. He was extremely professional and courteous. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

Says that they serve the Slidell area. You call the number and it ask for your zip code. I put in Slidell zip and it says that your NOT in their service area!
