Provided by YP.comThe short version of the story is I contracted with ABC Party Rental in Las Cruces to provide tables, chairs, and linens for mine and my partners wedding on Nov. 21.
On the afternoon of Nov 20th their delivery drive arrived and in the process of pulling into the driveway hit the power supply to the house. El Paso electric had to come out and made us get a contractor out there immediately or they would shut off power.
We repeatedly called the store that day. They refused to even come out and look at the damage caused by their driver. (the repair was around $3000) The manager of the Las Cruces store refused to even discuss the matter and said it was our fault. How their driver hitting a stationary object is our fault I will never understand. After more discussion on the phone she denied any liability even though we contracted with them to provide the delivery. She then decided that the driver, who she claims is an independent contractor, is who is responsible dispite the fact that he was in a Party World delivery truck doing a delivery of products provided by Party World. She doesn’t seem to grasp the concept that he was acting as her agent and we had contracted with her to provide the products and delivery.
After our honeymoon I returned to try and resolve this issue. She became hysterical screaming at me to get out of her store and that I wasn’t going to harass her. I left when she called the police. All I wanted to know was the owners information so I could file a claim in court against them. She flat out refused to give me the information and told me that was my job to figure it out.
This should and could be very easy to deal with if they would have just filed it on their liability insurance which they should carry on the vehicle. That information was refused as well.

Provided by YPmobileMy company called in an order and the associate didn't get all the information that was required to process the credit card. Upon arrival at the shop they told me that they couldn't process the order until it was paid in full and proceeded to tell me that I should pay for the items myself and have my company reimburse me. A half hour later and multiple phone calls later I was able to arrange payment and the manager then wanted to make sure that I had authorization from my company to pick up the merchandise. I won't be doing business with them again.
