Provided by YPmobileIf I could rate a zero I would. My beloved companion was killed in front of me on exam table. My best friend was held down, squeezed, and a muzzle that was too small was forced on his flat bulldog muzzle, not allowing him to breathe during a nail trimming. I'd asked for a different method, the pole and lead to be used, like at a groomer's table, but the vet wouldn't listen. He either suffocated or his heart gave out getting his nails trimmed. The Dr didn't even apologize or say anything. Because of this I'm being treated for PTSD. I still can't believe what happened, or how we were treated afterwards. I asked about cremation and all Dr. Early said was I could take him to shelter or he could send next day. I asked if my dog would be treated with respect or just tossed in a bin til shelter came to get him. His response was the same as before, I could take him or they will pick him up "soon". He he couldn't even assure me my pets remains would be treated right and respectfully. My dog was crammed into a shipping box that was too small and taped shut. He walked us out to my truck while I loaded my best friend, he didn't say a word. All he ever said was "that's never happened before". Regardless whether you use this vet clinic or another, please don't make the same mistake I did and let them do anything you don't want them to do, demand it for your pet and yourself. If they won't, please seek another veterinarian.

Provided by YP.comI recently took my Shih Zhu, my best friend, to Dr. Jerry Early at the Abilene Animal Hospital to remove two cancerous tumors in his rectal area. The tumors were located near a nerve which requires several hours of meticulous skill and focus due to fact if the nerve was severed or pierced would likely resulted in him having to be put down. The surgery was successful. They kept him in house care for a week to make certain he was okay. My little boy is now home all snuggled up against my leg snoring loudly enjoying the comfort of our Big Boy Lazyboy. I happened to read a review complaining about Dr. Early’s “beside manners.” That surprised me. I found no grounds for such a complaint. What I did find was a veterinarian who was more concerned and focused on my pet, than on making me feel petted and I am very grateful for that. When your pet needs care, I highly recommend Dr. Jerry Early and his entire staff who gave my little boy expert & compassionate care. D. Stovall Graham, TX.
