Bathroom merge over radiant heating floors!

We wanted to merge the master bath and the powder room in a house we purchased recently so the bathroom would be more efficient and usable. The trick was the radiant heating floors and all the pocket doors. We interviewed 4 plumbers being that this was the most intricate and scary part of this project. Danny had the right attitude from the moment he walked in the house where the others were very negative and made us feel like it was going to be extremelly hard, risky and expensive. Danny provided a reasonable bid and was able to start when we needed him to. He has done similar jobs over radiant heating floors before so he said it is tricky, but can be done if care is taken. Danny was extremlly flexible and accomodating during the entire project, even jumping in when the flooring guys cut thru a radiant heat pipe on the bedroom trying to polish the concrete ( I am glad he was onsite that day as what would have been a disaster was quickly patched!) . His work is impecable and thorough and to me it felt like he was working as if the house was his - this is the best type of contractor to hire - he is not only concerned about the immediate job you are asking him to do but he is thinking ahead and will make suggestions that will cut expenses in the long run. In summary, plumbing was the most concerning part of this remodel and it turned out to be a breeze even with the "curve balls" we hit! Just to mention a few of the things Danny did in the house: Kitchen: relocated gas line, relocated/installed water source/valve for fridge, replaced garbage disposal, replaced faucet and sink, hooked up the new dishwasher. In the New Master bath: installed a new sink and rellocated a second sink plus installed 2 new faucets for the sinks, installed a Toto toilet with washlet (which came almost looking like a LEGO set!), relocated all the vents to allow a new passage between the bathrooms, removed bidet, removed one toilet, removed old tub/shower, installed new soaking free-standing tub plus faucet and hand controls for it (very tricky since the floor was not leveled!), installed a steam shower unit which required "gently" jack hammering the floor to get the drain properly installed, ran all the piping to the basement where the Steam unit is located plus hooked up the touchpad for it in the shower, installed a complex Grohe shower bar for the steam shower. In the second bath he installed a new toilet that required drilling in the floor (again, over the radiant heat floor!), relocated the water source for the new vanity and installed the faucet and one piece sink/top that was quite tricky to get a good fit. He also replaced the shower fixtures and redid all the piping inside the walls as the new fixtures had additional requirements (plus a new hand shower). He also relocated the laundry room Washer hookup to a new room and rerouted some of the radiant heating tubing that was originally routed on the outside of the wall in the laundry room - it is now built into the wall where it belongs! He also replaced a ancient boiler recirculating valve that basically paid for itslef in 2 months of usage! During this ordeal I forgot to mention that we decided to replace all the radiant heating piping in the master bath slab (as the vapor barrier film was peepling) so he jack hammered the entire bathroom floor and relaid the radiant heat pipe and reconnected it to the rest of the system - I cannot even imagine the other plumbers taking on this task! I HIGHLY recommend Adept Plumbing - Danny the owner is young, but he has been in the business for a long, long time and it is clear that not only he has a lot of experience in plumbing, but also he is admant about a quality/thorough work with the least intrusion to existing work and is not afraid to take on a challenge.

Challenging shower control replacement.

Several other companies did not really want to work on a Grohe product and wanted to remove tiles and/or walls to access the plumbing. Danny Enghaus was both knowledgeable and professional, and did not need to remove any tiles or walls. We are very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him!

waterheater gone bad!

The only good thing about our waterheater going bad was having Danny Enghaus,Adept Plumbing and Heating ,install a new one. He was prompt, knowledgeable and neat. A true professional. We highly recommend him.
