We will assist you in selecting the program that best meets your needs. Your choices include private (designated) or agency matched domestic adoptions, trans-racial adoptions and a number of carefully selected international programs which include both infants and older children. Home studies and assistance are also available to families wishing to pursue adoption through other agencies. Privately Arranged or Designated Placements: Often the quickest way to adopt is to "designate" or locate a birth mother yourself. We provide the networking instructions and seminars to help you make contact with a birth mother wanting to plan adoption and can then assist both you and the birth parents in completing the plan. (One advantage of a designated adoption is that our administrative fee is reduced.) Interstate Placements: Our knowledge of Interstate Compact procedures and paperwork will assure that all formalities are met and speed the process of getting your child home. When a child is adopted by a family living outside of the state of Florida, the law requires that certain guidelines are followed. Attorney Cooperation: Cooperative assistance is provided to attorneys who have clients wishing to complete an adoption. We can perform the needed home study, follow-up with required post-placement supervisions and birth parent counseling. Pregnancy Services: We provide complete assistance to birth parents planning adoption by traveling to their home communities to serve them. We handle all the legal work, can assist with medical and other pregnancy related expenses and, in most cases, place infants directly from the hospital.
