Advanced Roofing Systems replaced my roof 3/09.



I reviewed several proposals from roofing contractors for the job. Advanced Roofing responded at the most competitive price. I had some reservations in going with them based on another review posted here.



My experience with them was very positive. They arrived on schedule and I had a new roof in two days. I upgraded to copper counter flashing for my two chimneys and had ice and water shield cover a section of low sloped roof. Due to the age of my home, I had ridge vents installed over all peaks and had sofit vents installed. Existing chimney ventilators were removed and decked over.



My advice is to research roof system technology and specify to the roofer what you are looking to have done. Make sure the contract lists all items included. Have roofer's insurer send you their coverage information on the insurance company letterhead. If you are not sure what upgrades you want, put it in as an option.
