I highly recommend Christopher's Handyman Service. After calling several other services and not getting a return call, it was a delight to have Christopher answer the call on the first try! I described the work I needed done, he quoted me a price over the phone and we scheduled an appointment. He called me the day before the appointment to confirm and showed up right on time. He is professional, responsive and polite. He is great!

I just bought a house that needs a lot of repairs. I had numerous problems and a very bad experience with a contractor; no written quotes and many surprises ($$) after he started the repairs. I was very reluctant to work with someone new, but took a chance on Chris because of his website testimonials and the fact that he quickly responded to my email and provided me with a written (and accurate!) quote. He did a great job on my sink and faucets and is coming back to install a new disposal. As I work on upgrading my house, I will definitely be calling Chris. Great work, trustworthy, reliable and very reasonable prices. A winning combination!

Christopher and his staff did a terrific job painting my bathroom, which made it look like a new room. The men were very neat and organized and the bathroom was done in just a few hours. I then asked Christopher for a price for deep cleaning and staining my deck which he arranged to do on the next Tuesday/Thursday. Bathroom was done on Saturday, on Sunday, I discovered a leak in one of the fittings to the washer.I called Christopher hoping he would have time on Monday to stop over, but instead he came over on Sunday afternoon and turned off the water completely so I could remove the bucket. Tuesday, he brought over the new fittings and within an hour all the plumbing was fixed at a reasonable price. That same week, he deep cleaned the deck and stained it two days after it dried. The deck looks great. I have already recommended Christopher to all my friends, and if you would like a reference from me, please ask Christopher for my phone number, and I will gladly provide it.

Chris hung my 42-inch flat screen television on my living room wall, running the ugly cords behind the wall; his work was flawless. He also retrofitted a Kravet bed so that it's now a platform bed, which I prefer, instead of requiring a box spring. His work on the bed is beautiful and he constructed the platform so that, if I ever sell the bed, it can go back to a box spring without a mark. Chris is just finishing up installing custom shelving in my living room, a job that was fraught with problems, as my walls are uneven. He's patient, conscientious, honest, reasonable in price, and does absolutely beautiful work. I have a long list of other things for Chris to do. Chris is the third person I hired for this work. The first man kept promising he'd do the work but never got around to it, the second was a company I hired off of Angieslist - they were Mutt and Jeff, basically - inefficient, late, yammering on the phone the whole time, and leaving a god-awful mess. I'm so grateful Christopher has come into my life! Settling into my new place has gone from a nightmare to a pleasant experience. And at a reasonable price. Not the cheapest, probably, but work that can't be challenged by anyone. He's far more than a "handyman," but I think it's the best category for Chris because he's so versatile and game to tackle any job I give him.

Great communication and great service. Chris showed up as scheduled to estimate, provided an accurate quote, and was able to schedule a worker to come in just four days later. The drywall finish work was excellent. But Chris earned our highest respect after the job was finished: Chris' drywaller used our utility sink as a water source for mixing plaster and for some clean up, and a few hours after the work was done we found that it would not drain correctly. Chris came over right away on a Saturday evening and snaked the drain, even snaked the other plumbing nearby to fix the problem. Made sure we were completely satisfied before calling the job complete. He also sent a Thank You card a few days later. Our job was pretty small compared to many remodel projects, but Chris treated us like we were his number one priority.

Our house got broken into unfortunately, we noticed it at 3am when we got home. I didn't know what to do so I looked online and found Christopher's Handyman Services and noticed they offer a 24HR emergency service. I was embarassed to call so late but I didn't know what else to do. Christopher answered and helped calm me down. He came right over, within 10 minutes, and helped clean up all the broken glass and mess all over the house. He even had a security guard come and stand at the back door until home depot opened the next day. He came back in a few hours and changed all the locks in my home, made them all use one key which was great as we used to have 3 different keys around the house. He replaced the back door (no more glass door for me!) and secured it so it would be harder to break in next time. I am going to have him install an alarm system in my home next week. I am beyond satisfied with his service and I am definitely recommending him to anyone and everyone! The best part about the whole thing was that he accepted credit cards! I just bought my home so I have no savings, being able to use a credit card was very important to me. So as the tittle says, Christopher is a life saver!
