I'm a guy from the neighborhood who wanted to hire a neighborhood business. So when I found All American I gave them a call. When "Dave" arrived, he immediately had a terrible attitude. He went downstairs, and didn't give me a chance to really explain what I was looking for. I was looking to either add ducts or replace a wall furnace that had an existing hole in the wall and existing electrical and gas line. He then through out an outrageous number of $2100.00 to put a new wall furnace in an existing spot. A wall furnace is on average $500-800. Considering the electrical and gas supply are already there. Installation would be about 3hrs including running a new vent, about $50 in material. That means labor is between $1000-1200 for 3hrs of work. So over $300.00 an hour for labor. Most Doctors don't make that. Totally outrageous price gouging. Before I could respond to the quote or ask any questions he began walking out. I asked how much I owe, he said nothing, then walked up the stairs and slammed my door on the way out. Real nice way to treat people in the neighborhood. By the way, I could afford it, and I would pay someone else more for a better attitude. No professionalism at all. Take your business elsewhere.

I have been using this company for the last 4 years. I always get excellent service. They have been keeping my 50 year old boiler going through the Chicago winters.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! I had a repair man name "David" come out to my home on 8/9/09-- My Central Air Unit work until I stopped using it in September 2009-- When I tried turning it on again last week it did not work! I called All American Heating and Cooling 10645 South Whipple, Chicago IL 60655 I was told they could send out a service tech for $85...I replied why should I pay another $85.00 when my unit only worked for less then 2 months. I asked her is this how her company do business? Not fixing a problem correctly the first time so you can send a repairment out to fix the same problem charging people over and over again? She said the repairman would call me directly in 10 minutes--He never did. I called back 45 minutes later and she (laughing) told me that since I had no warranty--they would not send a serviceman out at all--I spent a total of $160.60 $85.00 for somebody to come out and ring my doorbell and $75.60 for some Freon
