Save yourself alot of time and lots of money. American Home Shield (AHS) will let you get a second opinon from another company. I could go on , but its rather pointless. I simply wont use them or recommend them!

As with other reviews I wish there was a zero star option. "Casey" came out to check our AC Unit for possible repair through AHS. The technician "seemed" very nice but was only there to sell equipment.

The technician did not know how to operate a thermostat (or thought we were dumb enough to not know better) and he tried to sell us a replacement. A different company came out and indicated the thermostat was working perfectly (and still is). The tech was also not aware (or thought we were dumb enough to not know better) that blower motors for AC units typically have a delay before it starts moving conditioned air. He again listed the part as needing to be replaced. Again we had another company come out and verify the motor was working perfectly.

Overall this was not a pleasant experience. Tech seemed only interested in selling equipment not repairing. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. AHS... if you're reading this I hope you take note and drop this company as an authorized repair company.

I'm a SRPM in Commercial Casin...

I'm a SRPM in Commercial Casino/Racino Construction; also AHS Ins customer and extremely satisified with their pre-calls to set appointment time, calls to verify appointment that morning, asking advantageous questions in regards to units prior conditions, and excercised good judgement in existing malfunction of AC unit. They were pinnacle in making sure of AC connections status had intergerity; in lieu of, just simply charging the unit with more freon and driving off. I gave them a chance even after reading some of the one star feedback from prior customers, they solidified a great responce and needed repair during these 100 plus temps [Late July 2012]. And they came out on a Saturday to fit my schedule, I would recommend and easily use them in the future with no thought or inhindrance.

After being in Real Estate Community for the last 15 plus years, owning and operating numerous rental properties, it is such an asset to have ALL COMFORT SPECIALISTS taking care of all my Heat and Air needs. Fair, Honest, Reliable, Knowledgeable, and most of all, GREAT WORK for a very reasonable price! Saving me thousands of dollars. I have recommended this company to many Realtors and they all were presently surprised at the “TOP NOTCH’” service and the professionalism they received. I would suggest a person compare ALL COMFORT SPECIALISTS to other HEAT & A/C Services before you decide which company is right for you. You won’t be disappointed.

My A/C unit went out in the middle of the hottest part of the summer. I called All Comfort Specialist and they arrived promptly and installed a new unit in my home. They were fast, friendly and knowledgeable.
My unit works fantastic and it has never felt cooler in my house. My electric bill also dropped drastically!!!

Same as everyone else, my home warranty sent All Comfort out to service my furnace on Jan 2nd. My furnace was out and I have yet to hear back from them. I've had another hvac company replace my furnace and AC. I just wanted to provide my family with heat. You're better off just paying out of pocket for a good HVAC company like I did. Please never use All Comfort.

Zero stars would be too many. I was assigned this company AHS. The tech arrived in a timely manner, but it was all downhill from there. He diagnosed the problem (partially) then proceeded to tell me that "just between the two of us I might want to replace the whole unit" to which I replied "not happening so let's continue to get the repair done". He told me that it would be 2-3 days for the repair as he had to turn in the paperwork the next day, then he had to order the part. Numerous calls from myself and AHS fell on deaf ears. I faxed the copy of the diagnosis that the tech had left and was told " I cannot use that it is not my tech's paperwork". AHS asked to speak to a supervisor and was told he "was out to lunch". That was at 11:15. At 2:15 I called this company and he was still "out to lunch". When I proceeded to tell the customer service person about the tech suggesting a new unit, that he was talking badly about AHS she stated " I know the tech that was sent out and he would not say those things". So as other reviews have stated...their first priority will be to sell you equipment. The office manager the proceeded to get on the phone and tell me that they would not accept my fax, that the paperwork would not be in until the following morning, that it was their process, and that it had worked very well for them for 6 years". When I mentioned their bad reviews she stated "well, you can't believe everything you read". Upom calling the local Carrier company I was told that they had plenty of the part needed in stock. Anything I said or AHS said fell on deaf ears. By afternoon was done! I called a local company who sent a tech within the hour. He diagnosed the FULL problem, actually the most important one that had caused the damage to the blower cage to begin with. Went and picked up the part, installed it, and had my furnace back up and running by 5:00 p.m. This morning I sit in my warm, comfy home thanks to a company that cared, NOT All Comfort Specialist!

Everything people are saying is true. Came out to my home to fix a simple problem with the A/C system under my AHS warranty. I ended up getting the same scam about buying an entire new unit for $4000. I got pissed off and called AHS after I discovered that a $10 part was bad and they either didn't know how to diagnose it or didn't want to diagnose it. I also called the company and they were extremely rude. They told me I was not qualified to work on my own home AC system. I am an instrument technician at work. Who would you call to repair your home AC? Someone that charges $4000 and just replaces the system or the person that fixes it completely with a $10 part? Instrument techs work on big motors and control circuits that control those motors. The control circuit diagnosis on this particular unit was tricky but about as easy as working on an old car. These guys are a complete joke. I will never use them again either.

Wish there was a zero star option. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you have a home warranty and they send this company, call them and request a different one. They will take advantage of you and lie about what is actually wrong with your unit. Tell you one time you need freon then the next, tell you that you have to much. Then tell you that you have too much electricity coming to your unit. What??? That's funny because AEP says it's fine, and electrician says it's fine, and another HVAC company says it's fine (and fixed it!). I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Awful, rude, never again.

I had to use All Comfort Specialists for my AC because of my home warrenty. Honestly, anything to fix it would have been welcomed. The first technician came out, three hours late, and cleaned my unit. Every time I called the office, the receptionists got irritated with me because I wanted to know where he was. The second technician was out on time, very helpful and physically told me and my husband that we needed a new compressor or unit. They took almost two weeks to report this to AHS and while that happened, my house reached 95 degrees, completely unlivable. Finally, sick of all this AHS calling them, them never calling back, I called them directly. I believe it was Dave who called me back. Dave sounded like he was the man in charge. He felt the need to tell me, a paying customer, that I was wrong and he was right. And there was no way my house could be 95 degrees. This "expert" who had never been to my house was telling me based on his technicians notes. (The technician they had said was their most senior, and Dave told me he was new). This company was by far the worst I have ever worked with. I informed AHS they will never be allowed on my property again.

I have a home warranty through American Home Shield, had a problem with my air conditioning, the condensation pipe was clogged, easy fix right, not so fast, well after the clog was located (2 minutes) the service man says your air conditioning coming out your vent should read 55 to 60 degrees, mine was about 65 on both my units, without telling me that AHS only pays $10 per pound he starts putting in free on, 4LBS at $55 a lb, or $220 plus the $75 service fee, I now have spent $295 when it should have been $75. So beware of All Comfort Specialist Heating & Air.

Do not under and circumstances use this company. I am an AHS customer who paid for preventative maintenance - instead of adding Freon (like I later found out my unit needed) the employee told me I needed an entirely new unit that AHS would not cover and instead needed to go through All Comfort to purchase this. A week later my unit was blowing at 85 all day. Another service call was placed with a different company and come to find out all I needed was 3lbs of Freon. Not a new unit. These companies DO NOT make money on replacing units - they are only paid for labor. Therefore, it is more money in their pocket when you purchase a system outside of your warranty. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Like the last person with a rating, if there was a 0 star I would give that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Yet another AHS customer who has been treated poorly. The service is unorganized and rude. I am in shock at how I was just treated by the so-called manager. I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional manner in all my life. This is not how a company earns a solid reputation - this is how a company goes bankrupt. As a business professional myself, I cannot understand how this company is still in business.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I am amazed at the lack of professionalism from a person in a customer service position answering their phones and dealing with the public. Their inability to answer a simple question regarding billing definitely makes their practices look shady. I highly recommend you find another company.

Had A Unit That Was Suppose To Be Covered

I have Ahs and like most companies they figure out a way that Cost comes one the homeowner. Tim and Nate were good salesman but I need repairmen. Long story short , unit was fixed by a another company. Would not recommend. !!
