No stars! The owner of this business is a lunatic. I had specifically told the mechanic, Danny, not to add Freon to my car - we knew that was not the issue with the AC. He spoke with my husband on the phone two days later, with a quote of $894 to repair a leak and insisted we would need all kinds of parts replaced. Not being able to afford that at the moment, my husband declined and said we'd come pick up the car. At that point, Danny suggested he could "recharge" the unit and that might work, at a cost of $100. My husband agreed. When I went to pick up the car, I questioned Danny about what a "recharge" was, asking specifically if it could mean that he just refilled the Freon. He smiled and nodded, as if it was hilarious that the joke was on us. I asked him why on earth he would do the one thing I specifically told him not to do. I won't go into detail, but he suggestively phrased his response to imply that I may not be a lady and he wasn't sure if the man he spoke with was actually my husband. At this point, the owner told me I could take my car and leave - no charge. I told him that might save him a bad review, at which point he laughed at me and said they never got bad reviews. I suggested that he may not have understood everything that just took place with his mechanic and he said he didn't need to nor want to hear any of it. I became very upset and left, muttering an expletive as I went through the door. The owner followed me to my car, yelling through the parking lot that I was a f***ing b**** and a piece of s*** and that I'd better not ever go back there. He also said that I was a bad person and I would get what was coming to me. He placed his hands on my car door through the open window and yelled in my face. Fearing for my personal safely, I drove away as quickly as possible. Please please - if you are a female, I'm sure you'll understand and avoid this place like the plague! And men, remember the mechanic had no respect for my husband, either. Everyone please just stay away - these people have no business dealing with the general public!
