Provided by YP.comI have used these guys for the last few years do the upkeep on my mothers lawn. The first couple of years they did good job, but the last two years the quality has declined. They have not mowed or trimmed near the fence line, so that is now overgrown. Last year I asked them to do a fall clean up and they left piles of leafs in the back yard. I had to call the office to have them come back. This year they just blew the leafs along the fence line and into a tree line. They are reasonably priced and I have not had any issues of them showing up when they are suppose too. They just take too many short cuts and I will be looking for a new landscaper next year.

Provided by YP.comAl takes on too much work. He has a huge operation which he runs like a Mom and Pop store. He has really no idea of running his business. Family members work for him. He does not supervise the work. He does not supervise the office. Messages don't get to him. There is no office staff. The girl that answers the phone is his sister. She is rude and does not transmit the messages to him. So, this is it. If you want a good lawn, a good landscape guy, and a good gardener, look elsewhere. Al's landscaping is not who you want to do business with.

Provided by YP.comAl's mows the lawn even when it is not required, something you may want to keep an eye on. Their billing seems to be very inconsistent and most likely I have paid for services that were not rendered as the bills come in such a hap hazard fashion that it's hard to keep track of when they mowed and when they did not.
It is very difficult to communicate with the staff, bot the office and workmen. The office staff do not follow up on requests or promises, and the workmen speak very little to no English.
The lawn care is adequate, average at best. My wifes plants have become victim to indiscriminate weed whacking by the work crew...who cannot differentiate plantings from grass.
These guys are cheap, however if you want even a decent shred of quality, I would look around. Other Landscaping companies operating in Ashland may charge a little more, but they bill consistently, communicate with you the customer and honor requests - worth the extra to get a good job done and have workers that you can communicate with when needed.
