Provided by YP.comOur Refrigerator carried a heavy load before and during thanksgiving. All the opening and closing the doors while the kitchen was hot from cooking all night. Plus the storing of all that "Room Temperature" food after dinner I'm sure put the temp in the fridge way below what it was suppose to be for a day or so until it could catch up. My Mother was concerned with the temp and called Al's. Comes to my Mothers house on 12/02/2014. Greeted & stopped us in our every word or question to tell us be weary of "Overpricing" by a slew of reputable companies he was rattling off. I walked away as my mother listened. Not even 5 minutes went by and he took the food out the freezer, removed theinside back panel & the coils were frozen at the bottom. Not all of them but enough to stop flow. He said the fridge was shot because the line was blocked causing the compressor to steadily run. Our compressor was fine. He never took the back panel of the bottom of the refrigerator to see the massive build up of pet hair and dust from 13 years blocking the external fan and coils. We vacuumed the coils and fan really well and needless to say problem fixed. All this was after I asked the repairman to show me the coils and he refused to talk to me saying I was rude. But he rambled on and on never giving you a chance to ask him anything about the appliance. All for the charge of $50 bucks!!!!
I asked him to give us our screws he took with him and please leave. He stated I was not paying for the job so he didn't have to talk to me. Guess where the money came from for my mothers fridge? After telling me this,,,, I then showed him the door of which he took our screws and won't answer any calls telling us to speak to his boss. I was suspect of him when he started downgrading other companys instead of just showing us what a good job he could do. He goes around town collecting "House Calls" from everyone and will take a easy job but he's interested in talk, collect and go. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM!!! P.S. and there is no Boss to talk to,, just him!! Comment By: Pixel Pix Digital Creations "Web Developer" (504) 722-0990
