American Summer Dance Camp offering dance training camps: jazz and street jazz, ballet, lyrical, modern, musical theater, funk and hip-hop dance camp. You have select more then one type of dance according to your choice and trainer will train you in your favorite dance. After joining the camp i love my dance. I feel so proud on my dance

My daughter attended the Stratton VT Camp this summer and I could instantly tell a difference in my daughter's confidence level during the Friday Night Showcase in front of the parents...her shoulders were back, her posture was upright, and she had a huge grin on her face after each dance. I'm happy to say this new found confidence has continued over the months and she has become a bit of a social butterfly. We couldn't be happier with our decision to send her to American Dance Training Camp and we have already signed her up for next year's camp! Highly Recommend!

This was my daughter's first year at ADTC and we couldn't have been happier with the whole program. From the informative pre-camp emails to the friendly and awesome counselors to the impressive Friday night show...it is a perfect place for young girls that LOVE to dance!

My daughter has loved her years at ADTC, she looks forward to it every summer. As a parent I know she is being well taken care of, the facilities are great, and she is doing what she loves to do most - dance. She has gained amazing friendships and grows each summer to be a better and better dancer. The staff ADTC are patient and caring and Shannon Fouts is AWESOME, super responsive and ready to help with all my emails questions!

Our two daughters have attended the Squaw Valley, California camp for the past four years. They love the new location at Squaw Valley Academy--the best by far. They also love the staff. We hope the entire staff comes back next year.

Great experience. Madison had an over-the-top experience, and can't WAIT to go back this summer. Everyone she came in contact with was enthusiastic, friendly, helpful, and seem to always be making the camper's experience their top priority.

My daughter is enrolled for summer 2014 and is truly looking forward to it. This will be her third year. Shannon who handles all the enrollment and paperwork is a wonderful asset to the camp. She is based in CA, I am not but she ALWAYS responds quickly and is ALWAYS helpful, courteous and patient! ADTC was a great experience for my daughter. I love that fact that it is "girl focused". Not only is she having fun dancing, meeting new people from all over but gaining some great life experience! I am not always comfortable with recommending anything but I have recommended ADTC to several people!

My daughter (8 years old) was very happy with the camp. I thought everything was great. We heard nothing but wonderful reports about the teachers and counselors. ADTC provided a wonderful first overnight camp experience for my daughter and her friends. The girls had an amazing time dancing and bonding with new friends. They all said they want to come back and we were very impressed with how well the show was put together in such a short period of time.

This is a wonderful camp and our daughter absolutely loves it! She made it a point to tell us that Miss Steph went above and beyond to take special care of her and that is greatly appreciated. She will never forget her and suggests I grow and style my hair like Miss Steph's and I just might do that. A heartfelt thank you to Miss Steph and all the other teachers and counselors who made this experience very special this summer for our daughter. We were also very impressed with the choreography and what they are able to do in a week with these dancers. Our daughter will be headed back for her 3rd year this Summer.

Another perspective: Stratton Mountain Vermont

I am reading there horrible reviews about ADTC and I am very shocked.

My daughter has been a camper for 5 years at the Vermont location. She has attended 4 weeks per year Her choice! We have seen none of the bullying and the other mentioned negative behaviors. From what I have seen in Vermont, the director and senior staff as well as instructors all all mature women that appear in their late 20's /early 30's. All campers are treated with respect.

We love it and are returning this year for 5 weeks as a CIT. She loves it and is very sad that this is her last year as a camper.

My daughter just returned from this camp and though she loved the staff, enjoyed the horseback riding, paintball & kayaking and made new friends, this camp DID NOT give her the challenging dance experience we expected. She had lots of fun but for the $1500 that it cost us we expected to have much more technical and challenging dance instruction but sadly this camp did not deliver. If your daughter is a serious dancer looking for a challenge this is NOT the camp for you.The Squaw valley camp facilities were very disappointing. My daughter chose ballet as her core class but the dance studio consisted of mats taped down to the asphalt in the parking lot....no studio with a barre or mirrors. Not what we paid for :(

My 10 year old is at ADTC currently. Minimal Bunk1 pics (more on ADTC FB page), bunk notes (that I purchased) as of Monday night were not given to campers. I have not been overly impressed. I have no idea that she is ok b/c I can't talk to her & the pics are worthless. I am not sure for a return. The staff is very young.

I really wanted to like this camp and have my daughter attend on an annual basis. Unfortunately, our first experience was so bad that we will never return. The ADTC website stresses 24/7 supervision and zero tolerance for bullying. That was NOT the case. My 10 year old daughter was unsupervised at night after curfew and was continually bullied by a roommate. My daughter told me that each night at 10PM their counselor left her and her four 10 year old roommates alone in a hotel room. The lack of supervision enabled an older camper to run away. My daughter was bullied verbally by a roommate all day which was reported to the counselor and was viewed by the counselor. No action was taken by the counselor or the camp. I communicated this experience to the ADTC owner and she informed me that 24/7 supervision doesn't mean handholding. No action was taken by the owner. DO NOT go!

ADTC...well, I can not stress enough for numerous reaons..DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE..horrible bullying..mediocre dancing..limited activities..this company only cares about your $$ not your child..worst camp experience EVER..if you want to toughen up your 8 year old up and dont mind F bombing and their being hit in the face than go for it..low rent send your troubled child away dance camp!

ADTC Summer Camp is one of the most beautiful and sophisticated place that I check for my daughter. Beautifull place for my daughter. (all of which my daughter loves). My daughter has been attending the after school program there for 4 year. It definitely has structure. They have supervised free time, stretch in their designated group and then proceed to do three events Yes, the coaches are young, but they are energetic.

Very nice and wonderful memory with American Dance Training Camp. Awesome Activities SWIMMING, PHOTO SAFARI, CLIMBING WALL, HORSEBACK RIDING. I really enjoy the horse riding. And one more thing that is the first time when I really enjoy the GIRLS' NIGHT OUT WITH AMERICAN DANCE FESTIVAL where i got many friend.

“Let's Have Fun With American Dance And Training Camp”

American School of Dance and American Dance Training Camp is the best and most technically well-rounded dance studio around. The atmosphere is that of a family and you will always feel like you belong when dancing at camps. It is truly a sanctuary with a highly experienced staff that is always willing to accommodate any special needs. I really enjoy the dance.

I have taken several dance lessons from ADTC from Swing to Rumba, Salsa to Waltz, I have had a great time. ADTC is patient, knowledgable and very good at teaching. I look forward to the lessons. The Camo is large and light and is located in a great place.
