The tree work was good and I had used this company for many years with good success. This review is associated with Tom F. review. In December 2015, I witnessed one of their heavy equipment trailers hit and destroyed my next-door neighbor's original brick mailbox that was built when his home was, many years earlier. The original attempt to repair had the owner of American Tree come push the broken pieces together and leave the broken brick and mortar approximated to the correct position as if that were a repair. I then watch my neighbor struggle with American Tree Service for justice for months before having the mailbox rebuilt from the ground as it should have been, but the quality of repair was nowhere near what should have provided to this good neighbor that only had the misfortune of living next to a customer of American Tree Service. They will never be allowed on my property again, which is unfortunate after years of a successful business / customer relationship.

American Tree Surgeons removed a large tree dead  from my back yard today, 5/12/17. The tree was located within 10 feet of my home, patio and fence. They did a FANTASTIC job! They arrived on time and were a professional and friend crew. I was truly impressed with the work they did and the clean up afterwards. It is like they were never here but the tree is now gone. In fact, they left my property in better condition than before they arrived. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again! Lisa, 32244

I advice you not to do business with this company. Here's what happened back in September, 2015. I used this company and they broke an irrigation pipe while removing trees and shrubs. I noticed it after the fact so I called the owner of American Tree Surgeon. He told me that they are not responsible for repairs for utilities if they are damaged. I reminded him that before they started the work I specifically warned him of the irrigation pipes and that he had assured me "do not worry, I'm going to work like it is my own yard." He then said that he will come by and fix it as they always have tools in their trucks to do minor repairs. He never came. Finally, I talked to him today and he said that it is my responsibility to have it fix and not his. His demeanor on the phone was so different. He said that he never promised that he will come to fix it. The cost of that work was $4200 and yet he is not willing to fix the broken pipe. What a way to lose a customer and future business!

Don't let these guys anywhere near your, or your neighbor's', property! While working on my neighbor's yard they drove into my brick mailbox and destroyed it. Two months later I'm still waiting for money to rebuild it. The owner will low ball you, make excuses, anything to get around doing what's right.
