Do not choose this place for your septic needs. This place was recommended by our real estate agent and it was a very costly mistake for us.
We are selling our house and we have to get our septic tank inspected. We were only expecting have to pay for the inspection fee, because that is what we asked Apollo to do, is just the inspection. When we got the $910 bill from Apollo we were shocked. Apollo charged us $400 to dig a hole 4 feet deep and they pumped our system without our approval, because it wasn’t a “repair”.
The home was vacant and the previous sellers did not pump the septic tank when we bought the house. So, there was a lot to pump, which is understandable. But, if Apollo would have consulted us, called us, or informed us we would have found another option to dig a four feet hole, and shopped around for another company to pump our septic.
The owner said that his guys called him for permission to dig, but they didn’t call us. In the end, all we wanted was to be refunded for the dig, and for them to change their policy to inform their customers of such a costly expense.
