John and his entire crew did a great job taking care of my family. I noticed after some very heavy rain fall that there were some water spots on my walls in my downstairs (split foyer). I called the insurance company but they would not cover the problems since it was due to water from the outside. Understandable, so I did a search on Yellow Pages for a Foundation/Waterproofing repair company and Aqueduct was the only reasonable one that had good ratings.



I had called Aqueduct and they came out and worked with my schedule. John came in and started giving different scenarios of what could be done to take care of the problem and finally after investigating everything he gave us some options and then we settled on the best option.



A day later he gave us an estimate and it was way better than I thought it would be. He really gave us a great price for all of the work they were going to do. The work involved digging along the parameter of the house and re-waterproofing and putting a system in for draining the water away from the house and keeping the earth off of the house. They used the latest materials and high quality too. The system Aqueduct put in drained the water from the house into the backyard into a dry well. They also repaired any other issues that "came up" unexpectedly and without charge. They cleaned and treated the wall in my basement where the water spots were seen and the floor to prevent mold. After all of the work was done they put the dirt back that was dug up and laid top soil and seed. They even put new mulch down in my garden. The work area was clean and precise while and after the work was done.

John Babec, of Aqueduct Basement Waterproofing successfully accomplished at Hugh undertaking when I hired his company to restore the basement and drainage problems of a house I inherited. The house had been neglected for many years. There was one foot of water in the basement along with a 3 dump trucks of water-soaked garbage. Even though Aqueduct was hired to repair the basement water drainage and caving in of walls, John and his crew hauled all the stinky trash out of the basement for me. AT NO COST! Now who ever does that?



Being an elderly lady the undertaking of the repairs to this house was very daunting to me. After getting a few estimates and feeling a little confused and worried about the price and of the excessive amount of work that needed to be done to the house. Wow! John arrived and right away I was relaxed by his professional and delightful personality. He jumped right in with abundance of knowledge and without much thought he said, “I would do this and this…, and this needs to be done…and he continued with a few statements and I was sold. No hesitation on my part, he was the man for the job! Everything he suggested to do to repair not only the basement and drainage problems but also he discovered the basement walls were caved in by the outside cement swimming pool; which had also been neglected for many years. He also consulted with a few of his men and they all gave the house much attention and discussion. To my amazement the price he quoted for the all the repairs was very reasonable.



As the work progressed I found that John and his crew not only worked on the waterproofing repairs; they secured stairwells, pluming issues, leaking windows, drainage to the street, installing sum pumps, and the list goes on. And, I was not charged for many of the little repairs. Not only did Aqueduct crew do a wonderful job they continued with daily clean-up of supplies and trash which was a blessing since I had to have other contractors coming in and out. In fact, John Babec was so knowledgeable and helpful to me and he had such a professional and pleasant attitude when supervising his crew I hired him as the main contractor overseeing hiring of some of the other contractors.



I can not stress enough that all the work done by Aqueduct was excellent! When the job was completed the basement was so beautiful it was hard to realize that it had ever been a disaster area. Another blessing to me was that John Babec new so many other professional contractors and friends he referred to me; and I hired them to handle other repairs; and again I was pleased with their work.



John Babec, you really took pride in your work and you really cared about the results. John and Aqueduct crew I hope you read this because I want you to know how happy I was that all of you came to my need when I was so overwhelmed.

We had a problem with runoff from our neighbors house swamping our yard during heavy rains. Their house is up the hill from us and their runoff flooded my side yard and patio. Aqueduct sent a representative out to assess the problem and offer a solution.



They installed a French drain system to collect the neighbors runoff and send it on down the hill away from my house. While they were there, we also had them install a closed drain system that collected all the water from our roof drains. I no longer have issues with erosion, flooded patio, a soggy yard, or have to deal with those ugly downspout hoses.



The team Aqueduct sent in to do the work was prompt, professional, and did a great job. When the work was done, you could hardly tell where they had been! They placed tarps over the grass before they started digging so when they were done the only part without grass was the 1 foot wide ditch. They put mulch over that part to keep it from being muddy until the grass came back. What a wonderful surprise, I was anticipating a gigantic muddy mess until the grass grew back.



I would recommend Aqueduct to anyone that has a problem with drainage that wants to get the job done right at a reasonable price.
