Thank you - Thank you - Thank you - We hired Armstrong Appraisals to handle our father's estate including 8 properties throughout New York State in 6 different counties. We had waited till the last minute for probate and he was able to meet our time restraints. The reports were each professionally written and detailed far beyond what we have seen other valuation companies provide.

We hired Armstrong Appraisals to assist us with my mother's estate values that our attorney told us we needed. Luckily Mr. Fontana was aware of the rules of estates as he appraised it as of "the date of death".



My mother owned an antique store and a two family and he wrote appraisals for both properties and delivered them to me and our attorney by the internet and then mailed us copies.



From the phone call to the delivery of the report he was pleasant and helpful. I would recommend him to others.

I have to say Hurray!!!! for Armstrong Appraisals. In 2009 we attempted to fight our tax grievance against the City with negative results. In 2010 we hired David Fontana at Armstrong Appraisals. He took the time to explain to us the process and time involved with first fighting the grievance and then continuing the fight with the Small Claims Assessment Review hearing.



Before I ramble on and on, let me say that David got our assessment reduced ALL THE WAY DOWN to his appraisal estimate.



I first heard about Armstrong Appraisals from an article in the Schenectady Gazette. The article put the company in a good light and documented positive results. Prior to hiring the firm, I call around and asked others in our neighborhood organization and not to my surprise, they said I have a guy for you, David Fontana.



I am pleased to recommend his services as he has allowed us to stay in our dream home.

It's no wonder Armstrong Appraisals has been in business for over 50 years. Their skills, professionalism, experience, quality, accuracy and promptness made for an exceptional experience in having our business and home appraised. We wanted to expand our business and needed appraisals on all real estate holdings we own in order to proceed forward with our dreams to do said expansion.



The final appraisal reports on each property, along with the appraiser, David Fontana, guiding us and explaining to us each step of appraisal reporting and the subsequent values therewith, was exactly what we needed in an appraiser to accomplish for us. It's not just in trying to get a valid value on these properties, its what he taught us about the valuation process -- in essence he educated us in what we were looking at. He didn't just give us the reports and a "see ya later" attitude. Whatever questions or concerns we had, he took the time to answer and explain everything to us.



It's great to know there are people like David Fontana at Armstrong Appraisals who truly care about the service they are providing to the community.



We will definitely utilize this company again in any future appraisal needs.
