Quality program. Superior au pair screening. When you review au pair candidates you can rest assured that each one has been recruited and screened by staff in an established Cultural Care office. (Other agencies outsource with independent agents to recruit their au pairs.) Our screening process provides a higher level of recruitment standards and consistency in how candidates are interviewed. Quality training program. When your au pair arrives to the U.S. she will spend the first four days at our training school in New York, reviewing child safety and development. The curriculum, developed in partnership with the Children's Foundation in Washington, D.C., is designed to prepare your au pair for the year ahead. Au pairs are instructed by the American Heart Association on the adult and pediatric CPR/AED and First Aid certification program at the Au Pair Training Schools. Au pairs arriving from overseas will also attend a classroom course on driver's safety, delivered by the American Red Cross, designed to familiarize au pairs with American driving laws, signs and protocols.
