New all time weird for towing company! They refused to come up our driveway because "the truck might get scratched by a tree"... Never mind that our 25 foot boat on the trailer, ups, fedex, propane, and of yeah 18 wheelers can and do make it up our driveway with ease!



Ughhh! It's gets "better!" We just got home and it seems the flatbed decided to take a detour off the driveway on the way OUT (with cargo) through the lower pasture! We've now got a huge set of dualie tracks clean through all the soil straight down to the bedrock limestone... all the prairie grass there, I'm SURE is dead. We'll have to go get 2, maybe 3, loads of soil to fill in the ruts and somehow re-seed it all to try and get that area growing again. I called the wrecker to discuss the problem to which the dispatcher informed me "I don't have time to deal with this. Grass grows back!" and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! Wow... Just WOW!!!



AAA has been informed, and complaint has been escalated to management and dispatch. AAA Customer Service told me that I will be getting a call back from them on Monday to discuss damages and repayment for such.



Apparently "Gabes Wrecker" REALLY doesn't want to continue on with their AAA status as at this point I can't think of anything more they COULD have done wrong today... well short of dropping the vehicle off the flatbed!!! Luckily they at least managed to not do THAT so they did manage to do ONE thing right out of 5:

Good Driver Customer Service - FAIL

Handle Customer Complaints Professionally - FAIL

Deliver Vehicle - Pass
