I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Seveirville area. I got a great deal off of hotwire and did not expect much. A week or so prior to my stay I contacted the hotel and upgraded my room to a king suite at a very reasonable upgrade fee. Upon arrival there was an issue with the doors accepting my card and I was awarded the upgrade at no additional cost for my inconvenience. But that's not why I recommend this hotel highly, the rooms were very clean, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and to my surprise the breakfast buffet was very delicious. Also, this hotel has very good views of the surrounding woods and mountains. Furthermore, once the construction on the road at the front of hotel is complete, it is in a perfect location. You are close enough to the tourist activities that its never out of the way to go to any of the attractions, yet your far enough from all "the traffic" that your stay is not hectic nor bothersome. Very convenient and friendly all around.
