Did not complete the job. Owes us $700 that was paid to him for materials that we ultimately elected not to incorporate into the shower. Left us with grout that still needs to be done (no work on it since February 2015. It is now July 2015. Here is a text we sent in May 2015 (his phone no longer accepted messages we tried to leave):



PLEASE call Jason, Ben.



Could you please just mail us our $700 check and we'll call it good?



You have kept our $700 (it is not yours) for four months, and we do not want this to become a problem, but we will need to escalate things if you do not send us the money you owe us. Now. No excuses.



We were more than fair with you and would like you to be the same with us, especially considering we have medical bills for our daughter and need every penny at this moment.



Think about how you would feel if someone you trusted did this to you. Please send us the $700 and you don't need to worry about finishing the remaining work. Okay? Can you just do that for us?
