My vehicle was overheating and figured it was the radiator.....my X has almost 300k miles. Looked for a junk yard close by and this place shows as closest to where I was. Guy I spoke to on the phone said "no way it could be the radiator, but bring it in and we will take a look." So, I get there and they immediately tell me t-stat was bad even though a new t- stat had been installed 2 months prior. Installed new t-stat and WATER instead of antifreeze (per my request knowing radiator was more than likely the problem. ) Watched the idiot burp out all the antifreeze all over their parking lot......then my X overheats again. Mechanic adds ONE flower watering can of water, and tada....overheats again. I tell him there is no heat coming from inside heater vents so he tells me water pump is shot and I will need a new one to the tune of a few hundred bucks! Owner tells me I will have to leave my X there and find a ride......I was 150+ miles from home. This happened towards the end of the month, I am disabled and on a fixed income. Asked him if he would hold a check for a week til my funds were deposited into my account. ...NO WAY! Tells me again to leave it there and somehow find a ride. I told him I wasn't leaving my X there and would drive her back whether it blew up or not. I come out and look in radiator overflow resevoir and it was empty.....hmmmm. Mechanic added two more watering cans of water. Paid the bill to change t-stat....$90 which included $18 for their "professional" guess at what was wrong and left with my poor X still overheating. Made it a mile up the road and pulled into a church. Check and NO water. 4 gallons later, NO OVERHEATING! Needless to say, she started overheating again halfway home. Got her limped home and yep, radiator is 85% plugged. BUT, since I am just a stupid female, I have NO IDEA what is wrong with my vehicle.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone no matter how desperate they are!!
