DO NOT trust this firm. They are not closed on Fridays, they are just busy taking new clients. Case work is shoddy at best you aren't assigned to an atty until just before your hearing and their "trained legal professionals" are call center jockeys at best. They don't assist with any paperwork either.

If you want a mail processing firm that screws up your deadlines with rude legal assistants, go with this firm. I had to start all over because they blew my hearing request deadline. What a waste!

I could not be happier about the job performance of BGA. They have proven that they are there to help unfortunate people who are in need of a helping hand. America should be proud to have them represent those in need. I would recommend them to anyone

Every time I needed to talk to someone they were very kind and helpful. The process was simple for me and took a lot of the stress away from me knowing i had someone behind me fighting for what is best for me.

My assigned attorney, Reta Price, went the extra mile in preparing and presenting my case to the administrative law judge. Her Diligent work was responsible in garnering a "Fully Favorable" decision from the judge resulting in a back-pay award of five and a half years.

I can now put all my medical bills behind me and get current on the rest of my debt. Daily symptoms remind me that I still have lupus, but I have peace of mind knowing that I can now afford all prescribed medication and treatment.

Bill Gordon & Associates r...

Bill Gordon & Associates represented me for over 2.5 years in a disability case. I heard from them all of 1 time, without me calling them first, before my hearing date.

I waited 4 years for a hearing which I only got because I contacted a Senator about the long wait. They would later claim that they got the date fixed and not me.

I was given a lawyer's name as representing me about 1.5 years in, spoke to her over the phone and then 6 months later was assigned to a new lawyer two weeks before my hearing. He called me the night before, told me everything looked great as far as my medical records and paperwork and also told me that he personally knew the judge so it was a lock that I'd win. He showed up 5 minutes before the hearing, introduced himself and left to speak with the judge. He came back to tell me that I would have to ammend my disability date to almost two years later. The hearing was a complete joke and having t pay a lawyer over $3500 for so little work was an even bigger joke.

Six months after my hearing I got a call out of the blue from Bill Gordon and Associates on a Friday at 5:30. The lady claimed that I still owed them $68 but could not or would not tell me why. She claimed that the bill was sent in January and I let me know that I had paid all my debts in March when I finally received the first of my disability back pay. She then changed her mind and said it was sent out in April and then said May and that I would have to immediately fax proof if I didn't want this reported to my credit report. At this point I'd had enough and told her to go ahead. Demanding someone provide proof by faxing receipt, seriously how many people have fax machines anymore, is wrong. So needless to say I received a letter from this company by the next Wednesday informing me that they were no longer representing me in my case. Oh and I found proof that I paid the $68 in April the day I got the bill.

Anyone thinking of hiring this company, save yourself the headache and find a local disability lawyer. All Bill Gordon & Associates do is farm your case out to a lawyer in their network. Do it yourself and things will go much much easier for you.
