On the 15 November 2014 I called Gunderson plumbing to have him locate my sewer line/pipe that runs out to the street. My house sits back from the street so my sewer line is approximately 225' to the city's main line. I have one clean out located next to my house. It was recommended by Mr. Gunderson to have an additional two clean outs installed since it is now state law to have a clean out every 100'. So I hired Mr. Gunderson to come and locate my line for me. He told me I would have to hire an additional plumber to run his snake into my line so that he could attach his locater machine to the snake since his company doesn't have a machine with the snake. He recommended blockbuster plumbing since they have the machine with the snake! I set up the time for one o'clock on the 19 of November 2014 to have them locate my line. Me. Gunderson told me it would be $85 for him to locate my line with his machine, I next called Blockbuster plumbing to have him come with his snake to run it at the same time, $195 is what I was charged by blockbuster to run his snake! I took off from work at lunch to be there at the scheduled time. One o'clock came, no plumbers! I called them both, said they couldn't be at my place until 3:30 pm. At 3:30 both plumbers arrived! Blockbuster ran his snake and Gunderson hooked up his machine and walked off the location of my line spray painting the grass/ground as he walked! I paid the plumbers and they left. On 20 December 2014 I dug a hole in my yard were Gunderson said my pipe would be, I dug down about 4' and didn't find my pipe! On the 9 January 2015 I called Bryan's plumbing to have them snake my line because I was tired of not being able to shower/flush my toilet or run water in my house without it dumping on the ground from my clean out right outside my house. Bryan's plumbing ran his snake out 225' and CLEARED my line which blockbuster plumbing was unable to do! Bryan's plumbing asked me if I wanted my line located I said yes! He hooked up his locater and found my line! He walked and marked my line I asked how deep it was, he told me approximately 4 to 5ft down. I paid the man and he left. The location of my line from what Gunderson told me to Bryan's plumbing location is off about 20'! I dug a hole were Bryan's plumbing said my line was on 27 January 2015, I dug down about 4 ft and found my sewer line! On 29 January 2015 I called Gunderson and said I want my money back for him wasting my time and money! He said he would pay me half of what I payed, I argued with him an he hung up on me! I called blockbuster and he also told me he would pay me half! Is this right? If you do a job for someone shouldn't you guarantee your work? I am very unhappy with these so called plumbers! DO NOT CALL GUNDERSON PLUMBING OR BLOCKBUSTER PLUMBING IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM! They will rip you off!!
