Provided by YP.comIf you want auto body work or customer excellence please by all means stay away from Bluegrass Auto Body, what a horrible nightmare. Bluegrass Auto Body will jack up the charges, add unauthorized charges and add parts that do not need to be replaced. Then refuse to give you the vehicle back unless you pay the extremely inflated bill for unauthorized charges and unnecessary parts. In my case it was an insurance claim. Bluegrass Auto Body contacted the insurance company of the person that hit my truck. I had already received the insurance check to cover the damage so I took the truck in for repairs. Bluegrass Auto Body contacted the insurance company to find out how much the check was written for and then added more charges on top of that. Then I was told that the insurance company, not my auto insurance company but the at fault driver's company, had authorized the additional charges!! Total was $1,000 over what the check was even for. I asked why I wasn't notified about the additional charges and why the truck needed a new bumper. The one that was on it wasn't damaged at all. I was told that it wasn't replaced just repaired. I asked why does the itemized bill say that a new bumper was put on. They hung up the telephone on me. Very mature behavior on Tom's part. Tom is supposed to be the body shop manager. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. In retaliation Bluegrass Auto Body called Ford Motor Credit where my truck is financed. Bluegrass Auto Body went through the glove box in the truck and found information to call them. Ford Motor Credit gave them the information that I was 6 weeks behind in payments. Ford Motor Credit violated a privacy act by giving information to Tom at Bluegrass Auto Body. Then Ford Motor Credit called me and said they knew where the truck was because Tom from Bluegrass Auto Body had called them numerous times and the were going to take the truck. I called Bluegrass Auto Body and Tom said "since you are behind in your truck payments Ford is repossessing your truck"! Yes I am 6 weeks behind in payments but Bluegrass Auto Body violated privacy and fair trading laws. Beware of this company. I cannot begin to tell you what a mess they have made. The paint job is wavy and has a grittiness to the finish. Besides all the added on charges and parts, the customer service and the work is beyond acceptable. Find another body shop DO NOT USE BLUEGRASS AUTO BODY.

Provided by YP.comTook my car to shop after being recommend by insurance and lexus, but should have went to Fortune collision. They took almost a month to fix my car, which it was hit pretty bad, but they didn't sit around on it for 2 weeks! Then get it and it is making noises and come to find out they put a old rubber piece that is no good, back onto my car!!! I don't care that insurance wouldn't have covered I should have been called so I can make a call to replace the part myself or to put back on the old worn out piece. So they want $150 to go back into my car to fix it after they should have called to begin with and fixed it while they had my car apart. I will be out of a car once again for however long it takes and it is costing me more money because they said it was a judgement call they made, because they don't have time to call everyone for things like that!!! thought that was your JOB!
