Provided by YP.comI hate to contradict the previous reviews, but my wife had a very undesirable experience with Bluff City Towing today. She drives a Hyundai which does not have a spare tire, thus requiring her to call Hyundai roadside assistance when she has a flat. Bluff City was called by Hyundai and made the scene an hour later. The driver then sat his in truck for 5 minutes, hopped out, and handed my wife his clipboard without saying a word. After she filled it out, he told her she could sit in his truck. This was the last thing he said to my wife. During the ride, my wife sat next to a 5 year old boy who was unrestrained. The driver then proceeded to run a red light with my wife and his unrestrained son in the vehicle. When the boy held on to her and the driver for support, the driver responded to him "daddy will protect you." Fortunately, they were not involved in an accident because it is my guess that the child would not have been protected by his father and would've ended up in the front windshield. My wife texted me the entire way there saying that she was uncomfortable, one reason being the driver was on the phone the entire time, adding that every other word was a cuss word.
I attempted to contact management at the only phone number I could find on the internet (901.379.0222), but I got sent directly to a voicemail box that had not been set up. We will be following up with Hyundai, requesting that Bluff City be taken off of their list of wreckers.
With all of the reputable tow companies in the City of Memphis, it is my advise to use another one.

Provided by YP.comI have never used them but have had an issue with one of their driver's almost hitting me today. I noticed that another person has had the same issue as well. I was traveling north on Covington Pike near the interstate and he tailgated me, almost rear-ending me because he wanted to do 70. He revved his engine when he got under the bridge and immediately cut off the person in the lane beside me and proceeded to fly down the street, running people off the road that were coming off the interstate on the other side of the bridge. He then proceeded to weave in and out of traffic, cutting people off left and right. Please note that it was rush hour and bumper to bumper traffic while he did this. After seeing how they let their workers drive, I would never trust one of them to tow my car anywhere!

Provided by YP.comI hate to rate a business I've never used, but this is twice now in about a month that I've nearly been hit by one of their tow trucks. The first time I was nearly run off the road on Walnut Grove by a driver weaving in and out of traffic. The second time was this morning on Germantown Prkwy when I was changing lanes and he can flying up behind me forcing me back into my lane and then he proceeded to weave in and out of traffic again and then run a red light. From seeing their driving as a bystander, I would NEVER utilize their services.

Provided by YPmobileHorrible horrible service. Took tow truck driver over 1 1/2 hours to get to my car. When the insurance said the eta would be 45 minutes. Tow truck driver had a young boy in truck with him. Would not ever use this company again. Even if insurance company had to.

Provided by YP.comThis firm stands out in many respects: They treat their customers well, go the extra mile for them, and respond quickly. This is indeed a highly professional outfit in an industry littered with mediocrity. Keep up the great work!
