Provided by YP.comI have had them out twice. The first time was to unclog a sewer line. The tech broke my new toilet and also said he thought I needed a new sewer line from the house to the street...it was just a clog caused by some kids because the house had been vacant. The second time I had them out to connect a new faucet to some old plumbing...the kept wanting to replace more and more plumbing..and ended up charging me 500.00...failing to tell me that there was an adapter to connect the faucet to the old plumbing for 15.00 dollars available at home depot. I wont use them again.

Provided by YP.comI am in Escrow and wanted to get a few estimates done on things that needed to be fixed on the house. I have a plumbing and a heating issue and figured I would kill both with the same stone if possible. I had seen Bonney's TV advertisements and thought that it looked like what I needed. However, what I didn't realize, was the reason I was seeing so many of their ads was due to how much they cost! It was going to be $133.99 an hour just for them to look at the plumbing and $85/per unit for them to just look at the furnaces that i had been told did not work and were most likely on a recall list. Needless to say I went with two other companies and one is a free estimate and the other one is $65 to look at BOTH furnace units.

Provided by YP.comI am a single parent and I'm a female so when it comes to any type of "plumbing", I'm like a deer caught in the headlights.
When I called Bonney Plumbing for help, the super friendly CSR's didn't make me explain what the problem was down to the details (I'm a woman, remember?) they were helpful and professional and immediately assisted me. They were able to come out that same day within three hours. I had to run a couple of errands but they were able to call me on my mobile phone when they were on they're way up to 45 minutes in advance! Who does that?!
When the tech arrived, he was clean, friendly and didn't smell like sewer drains. His hands were even clean. As he walked into my home he had the courtesy to put on shoe covers and cover alls.
After diagnosing the problem the tech gave me a written and verbal diagnosis of what the problem was, what was needed for the repairs and what it would cost for him to do it, absolutely free of charge!. I was pleasantly surprised to see that their prices are very competitive! I was very pleased. He allowed me to ask question after question, he didn't get frustrated with me, he wasn't trying to run out the door because he was on the "clock".
All areas he worked he cleaned up after himself at no additional charge. (I've had plumbers come out before and I've always been stuck cleaning up after them). He did the work in half a day (had a section of a kitchen drain line replaced/repaired and a main line cleared out). and he also GUARANTEED the work!
I've experienced a lot of bad customer service from many companies and I've always attempted to call write or email to make a complaint, this is actually the first time I've taken the time to say "Thanks Bonney! Your guy did great! I'll refer you to all my friends and family!"

Provided by YP.comAfter many years of medicore service from a multitude of plumbing companies, I finally found one that I will call again. Bonney Plumbing is a fantastic company. The guy they sent to my house was on time, respectful and was able to fix my leak on the spot (since they have so many parts right there on the trucks already). He mentioned to me that they also do heating and air now, so I will definitely be calling them in the future for all my plumbing, heating & air needs.

Provided by YP.comI have used Bonney Plumbing, Heating & Air a few years ago for a clogged drain, so when I had a problem with my a/c unit I decided to give them a call. Being a single mom it is important for me to feel safe around their techs and both guys that came to the house were very respectful. They did a great job, but do cost a bit more that some of the other companies. For me, peace of mind is worth it, knowing my family will be safe and the job will be done right the first time.

Provided by YP.comI am a repeat customer of Bonney Plumbing and have been for several years. It is such a wonderful feeling to know that whenever I have a plumbing issue, I can count on Bonney to be on time, reasonably priced, and provide excellent service. Every technician that has come to my home has been very professional, courteous, and obviously very educated in the field. When I have a heating and air issue (hopefully not in the near future!) I will be sure to give them a try. I highly recommend this amazing company. Give them a try!

Provided by YP.comBonney plumbing has provided outstanding service at our 2 homes for as long as we've lived in the Sacramento area. Their staff are professional, polite, and clean-cut. They always wear those Bonney Booties over their shoes inside our home so the carpet won't get dirty. What we really appreciate is that they explain the work to us before they begin, and the results always exceed our expectations. Now we're going to call Bonney to service or replace our Heating and Air conditioning before summer. We would never consider calling a different company for our Plumbing, Heating and Air systems. Bonney is the best!

I declined the service, found a supply store in midtown Sac that carries capacitors, and purchased it for $15 and installed it in about 10 minutes! Unbelievable!!

Provided by YP.comI have had several plumbers out to my home over the years for a main sewer that has roots. Usually I spend $100-$125 to have the line clear and I am good for another few years. Bonney charged me over $400 and then tried to give me a "hard sell" on a new sewer and come chemical treatments. I felt taken advantage of by the whole experience and would not recommend them.
Thank you for taking time to post a review. We appreciate the opportunity to hear your concern. I'd like to provide some additional information for you and the benefit of anyone looking for professional plumbing and drain cleaning services. Unlike most companies offering drain cleaning services, Bonney uses flat rate pricing. We do this so you'll know the cost before we start. Our regular rate for any drain cleaning service with a clean-out access, is $138.89. Our discounted rate is $125.00 if there's anyone in the household age 55 or over, or if you happen to have one of our coupons. Our findings and recommendations are written on our invoice - so the proposed work can be explained. Should we find any additional problems, this is also documented on our invoice and discussed with the customer. We don't engage in 'hard sell' tactics and we don't recommend any chemical treatments. Perhaps you confused our company with another plumber you've used in the past. Customer satisfaction is very important to us and something we take very seriously. If a customer has a question or would like to clarify something - we're only a phone call away. Our friendly, professional staff are here and ready to help. Please give us a call to discuss your concern. We are committed to quality and superior customer service.

Provided by YP.comI decided I was finally ready to call a plumber after several attempts from my husband trying to fix our kitchen faucet. He took it apart and could never get it back together. I remembered hearing Bonney Plumbing commercials on the radio. I went to their website and checked them out on the State Contractors Board website. Reluctantly I finally talked my husband into having someone help us. I called them the same day and they got me in, that was my first surprise. Next they sent out this plumber with a spectacular looking truck clean and full of all kinds of parts you could ever imagine. When he, Craig, came to my door he even put on booties without me asking. I was so thankful and it was unexpected especially since I had my carpets cleaned the weekend before.
He looked at our faucet and did not say oh you need a new one. Instead he said it was fixable. Now I don't know many service people who want to fix what you have as opposed to selling you new stuff. Again I was surprised and so happy that the company I had heard on the radio ads were in fact what they protrayed themselves to be. On their ads they say *you know the price before we start*, sure enough he wrote up an invoice and gave me the option to proceed. I agreed to the job and it was the best thing I did.
My faucet works beautifully, my husband thanked me for talking him into getting help and we all are happy.
I will call Bonney Plumbing for all my plumbing needs!

Provided by YP.comI called at 8am for a noon to 4pm appointment. I was not told to have my outside sewer drain exposed, but had it ready for the repairman anyway. The man was 2 hours late, had a very bad attitude, complained about the work, the company, and also complained that I didn't have the "right" drain exposed. How was I to know there were three! It was a very bad experience.

Provided by YP.comI had seen the Bonney Plumbing trucks around town but had been using a family friend for a long time. Well, one day we had a "Bathroom Backup" and he was not available. So we gave Bonney a call. Lets just say i never am going back. Bonney must pick the most kind and carring people we have ever met. He was polite, wiped his feet on the mat, and got straight to work. He had the problem fixed and after answering some questions about preventing this kind of issue, was back on his way down the road. For all of you single moms out there, you actually feel comfortable with them in your home.
I would recomend Bonney to anyone!
Thanks again!
