I called Melanie on the afternoon of June 5 and discussed with her me selling my entire apartment furniture to Busy Bee. I sent pictures and she was impressed so she gave me the owners, Bruce, phone number. I spoke with Bruce and he said Melanie looked over the pictures and said the furniture was something he would purchase from me. Bruce scheduled a pick up time with st 9:30 a.m. on June 6. I am a working mother of four children so I had to leave work on June 6 to meet him, and I did so. I left work and called him and he said the pick up time would change to 12 noon. I called him at 11:30 a.m. and he advised me the pick up time would definitely be between 12-1. 1 p.m. comes by and no Bruce. I call and he says they are eating lunch and soon as they finish he would be over to my apartment. 2 p.m. comes and I call Bruce but he doesn't answer. I wait and call again minutes later and still no answer from Bruce. I call Melanie back and she says they just left the shop heading in my direction. It should be 20 minutes. 3 p.m. come by and I call Bruce. He says he got to make another stop before he comes to me. I ask are you going to be here by 3:30 and he says no. I said I had appointment with you at 10 this morning and its 3. He says well I'm making my way to you. I explained to him I took off work to get my furniture moved this morning and I was going back to work. He said he can try to make it tomorrow at noon. So I explained I will be at work tomorrow at noon. Then, he rudely says he don't even want the furniture because I've been calling him all day and hangs up the phone in my face. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BUSY BEE CONSIGNMENT SHOP TO ANYONE!!!
