Caldwell moved to Chattanooga shortly after graduating from LSU School of Law in 1989. While in law school, he was a member of the Louisiana Law Review, published three articles, and graduated in the top 25% of his class. He originally worked for Chattanooga law firm Chambliss & Bahner, and then went on to be a prosecutor in the Hamilton County District Attorneyâ??s Office.
