Heike Kibler, a highly skilled professional and award-winning dog trainer, began her career 25 years ago preparing German police dogs for the rigors of K-9 police work. A resident of the South Carolina Lowcountry for the past 23 years, Heike has successfully trained dogs in the following disciplines: Obedience, Problem Solving and Behavior Modification, Agility, Flyball, Canine Acting and Tricks, Tracking, and Search and Rescue. During her years of participating in dog competitions, Heike Kibler never found a satisfactory boarding alternative for the dogs she couldnt take on the road ... hence the idea of The Canine Cottage was born. Heike has created a place where families can comfortably board their dogs ...as if you were leaving them at a friends home.
