Let me preface this tirade by saying this- I am NOT the type of person to leave negative reviews. I take any and all circumstances into consideration and tend to be very forgiving in general. However, when I feel I have received exceptionally substandard service/products with a blatant disregard for the consumer, I take exception. As is the case with my backyard fence, constructed by Cedar Fence Company. Current inspections and the realization of how poorly a job was done have aroused enough indignation for this review to be posted. This company was quick to come out and provide a competitive quote and got the fence up quickly. At the time, I was a single woman and was just happy to have a fence, didn't know what to "look for" regarding quality. Fast forward a few years and my husband and I are assessing our fence that is DESPERATELY in need of repair/replacing (See pics!) and I see how many corners were cut. Shoddy work to the extreme!! Nails that should have connected to crossbars literally nailed into thin air 2-3 inches above said crossbars. Where perpendicular boards intersected, there was NO supporting structure, they simply toenailed it so it wouldn't sag past a certain point. Absolutely detestable. The entire fence is literally falling apart 6 years after new construction and will need to be replaced-there is no "fixing" the existing fence. In addition, though I paid for single board construction, they used pre-fab panels on the two side fences and didn't connect them adequately. One out of THREE connection points were utilized, and only with aluminum straps (think soda can strength). Needless to say, those meager connections are now obsolete and I have side fences that look like a labyrinth quest instead of a backyard boundary. I would advise anyone looking for fence construction to do your research and steer clear of this "company". I am the complete opposite of pleased.

They came out the same day I called and beat the other two estimates that I had. Very friendly and built my fence super fast. Would Highly Recommend! Cindy
