Provided by YP.comI have been calling in complaints to century link monthly for the past year. I finally had the internet hard-line and wifi connections fixed today over the phone. They told me the modem was packed full of IP addresses and the channel was set incorrectly by the technician. I asked to be compensated by having a partial credit towards the contract of my bill since I had not received hardly any internet service. The technician transferred me to the loyalty group. Before the phone was handed off from the technician to the loyalty group, the tech said I had never called in before. This is absolutely incorrect. The loyalty team was not apologetic, nor would they make any efforts to resolve the dissatisfaction. I own two businesses, and I would never handle customer relations so poorly. I am truly disappointed, and I would cancel all of my contracts with this business if there was any other option. Unfortunately, there is no other option out here in Mountain Home, ID, and that gives them a monopoly and bulldog philosophy.
This is just one occurrence. I have had countless issues with them for years. Every time I am forced to contract them, I end up infuriated and taken advantage of. Recently, I signed up for a new install out at my residence. It took 3 months for them to come out, and then they quoted me $1300 to run wire. I could not agree to that, and they refunded my money. The loyalty group offered a free month for free, and I could use the month for my other account (which was business in town). I tried to cash in on the offer, and, of course, there was no record of it.
I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment they have offered me in exchange for my money and timely payments all these years.
