I paid for my chase cover on 7/18. It was to be installed when they came to clean my chimney therefore not having to pay a separate service charge. After two cancelled appointments by this company and fall coming on I had another company clean my chimney. I would have had that company install the chase cover but it was in the possession of Certified Chimney. Certified Chimney finally showed up and put it on 9/22, two months and a week later. They then charged me a service call even though they are the ones who cancelled my two earlier appointments when it should have been done with the cleaning. The owner left me a note saying I shouldn't be upset because he does good work. The other company I had to use, Service Plus, also does good work and they show up instead of cancel your appointment. They also left the old one laying in my yard even though they say they don't leave a mess. In a year Certified Chimney has cancelled my appointment three times, the first without even a phone call.
