I would NOT recommend using them. We had them build our deck and fence about a year and a half ago and I am still upset enough to write a negative review. It took them more then 8 weeks to complete our deck and even longer to do our fence. They would come up, dig one hole and we wouldn't see them for anther 3 weeks. I could handle this as we did it in the winter, but we also had several problems. Within one week a bracket was broken on one of the rails on the deck. When I called Colin to fix this, instead of him saying, absolutey, we will be right out, he blammed it on us and said they would only break if they were leaned on. We hadn't even used the deck, it was only 2 weeks old. But, I didn't know we couldn't lean on the rails... That doesn't seem very safe to me. Pretty ignorant right... He finally came out and fixed that (but it is broken again), but never fixed our gate so that it would shut automatically. He promised to come out on several ocassions to do this, but our pool failed the inspection twice because of this. So, I had to turned to my good ole Dad to do this. He also never leveled our drive-thru gate, again, good ole Dad. Luckily my Dad was able to correct those small issues for us, however, the TREX boards are uneven, I asked him to fix this when he fixed the bracket, but he did not. Now I have to pay someone else to do this as we are all stumping our feet. I hope you are lucky enough to read this review before going with Champion fence. It is the worse contractor we have ever delt with and we just build a brand new home and pool.... We understand there will be issues, but this guy is plain unprofessional. Please, don't even make the appointment... He will be less expensive than his competitor, but you get what you pay for. You know that cheap crap is wayyyy too expensive right... But once cry once, we have learned our lesson.

Chesapeake100, I too found Colin to be professional and responsive during his initial presentation and prior to receiving his second payment. My deck was completed months after the promised due date. The deck looks beautiful, but if you should have a need for Champion Fence and Deck of Manyland to make any repairs/corrections forget about it.



What puzzles me most about this non responsive behavior, is I don't know why Colin is not responding to my calls and concerns. I thought we had a wonderful client/contractor relationship. When his employees failed to show up for work, Colin would provide an explanation and we would wait until the next beautiful day inticipating the next phase of the project to be completed. All payments were made on time, and now that the job is completed Colin will not return my phone calls or return to the job to repair items that he has promised to fix.



Colin is a very nice guy, but his customer service and followup to his client's needs are poor.

Colin and his team built my deck to nearly perfection. Since I've never had and addition to my home I was very concerned over quality of craftmanship & reliable. These guys delievered a beautiful job within a timely manner too. Colin, the owner, delivered on every promise!! Highly Recommended
