Charleston Outlet is my preferred thrift shop to go to. I can go there and find gently used items that I love. Whether I go looking for a shirt or shoes I find exactly what I'm looking for. The prices are unbelievable and the staff is very helpful and friendly; always greets me with a smile. I enjoy going shopping at Charleston Outlet.

Doing some research on the local consignment shops here in Las Vegas the online yellow pages delivered to me a list of 74. After calling the shops listed 1-21 I found that 95% of them never answered their phones but most importantly I discovered that stores are listing themselves as consignment shops when in fact they are not. In reality they've all told me that they are a thrift store/donation center. Chris at Charleston Outlet was the third such shop out of the 21 I've contacted. And just to keep things fair the other two shops to list themselves deceptively were/are The Salvation Army and Savers. I ask you is it really necessary especially for these last two shops to intentionally be deceptive in their listings to further and broaden their exposure? I don't know of one person that does not know about Savers or The Salvation Army. This only shows that they are not what they've represented themselves to be to the community at large most specifically The Salvation Army. And every store employee had the same thing to say, they didn't know what I was talking about. Am/Have I truly been the ONLY one to call that's discovered the misleading profiteering.....I think not.

The selection was okay, but the store is small. The biggest problem is that there are no change rooms - so you get what you take home whether it fits or not. Staff was not overly friendly.

I, do not like shopping but, I found thier prices REALLY resonable. I found a purple silk shirt for a $1.00. Their staff was real helpful.
