Several of my friends used him for their weddings in the Cape area and they all recommended him so I used him as well. He was really easy to work with, we had no problems at all and everyone was happy with him. He had an awesome light display set up that was super fun and his price was very reasonable.

DO NOT USE THIS DJ!! IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. DJ HORROR STORY!



Dozens of people have said, "The wedding was beautiful, but, oh my god! Who the hell was your DJ??" My photographer told me yesterday that she has already warned two brides and encouraged me to get the word out. Other brides deserve to not have their wedding ruined.



We went to Charlie because he was local. He met with us twice to go over songs we wanted, the feel we wanted for our wedding, the order of everything -- you know all the normal stuff. We went into our wedding feeling like we had hired a great DJ (which is a very important part of the day)



This was not the case... Charlie outsourced our wedding to some guy he knew who had never done a wedding before.



First, the equipment was bad. There was feedback all during the ceremony. This is the thing people remember about my wedding. My wedding planner went up to him and asked him to do something and he said, "I have no idea how to work this stuff, sorry.'



Second, this guy who Charlie said "has been working for me for a year" was left to do our wedding alone. He confessed early in the evening that he had never actually done a wedding. Charlie just couldn't be there, but wanted to take our money so he sent some apparently random guy. This guy didn't play anything we had requested and had to be instructed on the parts of a wedding. We basically DJed out our wedding but paid someone else.



The best part is when I called Charlie to complain he LAUGHED IT OFF like it was a funny story. He then explained , "Well, he was using equipment that he had never used before. I can't use my best equipment outside" and, about his service "I'll have a talk with him because he has a few weddings coming up here pretty soon."



He did NOT apologize. He did NOT offer to compensate us for basically ruining a huge part of our wedding. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.
